I bought some cheap fem seeds from Oaseeds. Its their own in house strains. I'm growing out the Chronic Strain they have. These are very hardy and fast growing plants They already stink to high hell and they are barely flowering. I started them at the end of July super late but they will finish before the snow I think and if not I have them in buckets so I can bring them in the garage and put a light on them if needed. So essentially they are 12/12 from seed outdoors I guess you could say. These are also quite uniform surprisingly except for the runt in the back left corner. Just thought Id share my experience with Oaseeds inhouse brand so far. I will update this post with pics and final harvest and smoke report. It says they have a subtle sweet smell when flowering but these reek.

This is the description from their site
Genes: sativa/indica
Genetics: Northern Light x Skunk/Northern Light x AK47
Flowering: 60 - 65 Days
Harvest: Medium
Height: Medium
THC: High
CBD: High

Grows a single huge central bud with few side branches. Chronic almost always produces medium, stout and very sturdy plants that churn out average sized yields of extremely dense and frosty buds that ripen to completion in only 8-9 weeks indoors and by the end of September outdoors, beginning of October at the latest. This strain does not respond well to topping

Also look at pic two closely. Notice the flies under the tips of the leaves? I dont know why but flies land underneath the very tip of the large fanleaves and they die there. Theres probably 20 right now and Ive pulled off dozens already. They dont hurt the plant in any way but I just find it very strange that they attach themselves there and die. Zombie Flies?

Blast from the past is chronic the old one was ok great yielder and a ok smoke it did reek but i think the later version was less stinky/good also like ak47 or kalimist cos serious seeds got busted and lost some of there parental stock as a result i wonder if oaseeds one is from older stock or new

I grew this I'm the late 90's, early 2000's. I was really into serious seeds for a bit. While I liked it alot I preferred their white russian, it tasted great and was 200proof potent, hit me like crack.

But I will say that I got more compliments from the chronic whenever I brought some out to smoke with people.

One coworker took a bat hit and said that it tasted like he'd just smoked flowers. Another took a batty after we departed the shop in the am, an hr or so before we clocked out I offered him another puff, he turned it down saying he was still stoned from the first one hrs ago. The next day the guy said that when he sat down for dinner he was still stoned.

Great bud

I have read some people say their best/stinkiest plants attracted flies.. maybe they are laying eggs?
Thats what I was thinking too but its not.. No eggs at all. Sometimes they are still alive but when I swat at them they fall and cant fly and just walk. Its very strange. Its like they go to the leaf tip when they know they are about to die and thats where they die. They dont fall off till they are crispy. They are attached well to it too I cant just flick them off I have to pull them off.

Thats awesome. I cant wait to see what comes of this and if it is actually true Chronic. The price for the seeds cant be beat either.

I don't think they would have been like, take all of em but white russian, that they can keep.. lol
No i know I dont think cops are ever that fair lol i think due to no one taking care of em when the police had everybody held in custody or whatever maybe some stuff died idk for whatever reason alot of there stock changed after that however white Russians still pretty solid also back then it payed to not keep all your mothers one place maybe the wr was kept safe seperate from the rest who knows

Heres an update on the outdoor Chronic. Already stinking real bad, and starting to get frosty. I am actually surprised how strong these plants are. Since I started adding extra Azomite, my plants have never looked healthier.

Got them inside today, its pouring out today. I bring them in when it rains or when its super cloudy and put them under the Sqare LED light from Forever Green Indoors that I bought when they had it on sale for 49 bucks. Now its back up to 100 but its super bright and only 220w. Plants seem to love it. Look at the leaves on those things, theya re bigger than Stalone's hands :peace:

Girls are almost ready for the knife. Its going to rain pretty hard over the weekend so I brought them in the garage under lights. They had aphids but I was able to knock them down to almost nothing. I even moved the plants close to a large wasp nest, I saw wasps on them all the time so they were eating them up too Id imagine. Only one spot of budrot, other than that they grew super strong. Buds are fat and solid, smell is awesome, rotten fruit skunky. Theres a couple OG Kush by DNA in there too, they are the more stout ones. I want to leave them longer but they are pretty close to ready with the exception of a couple. Plus with my other ones flowering earlier than I wanted I need to reduce my plant numbers.

Overall I am very pleased with how rugged and how nice these came out. No issues whatsoever besides the aphids and one spot of rot. Not sure on yield but the buds are solid so we'll see. They were sprouted probably around mid July cant remember exactly. I put them into the 5 gallon buckets around the end of July - August 1st and outside they went. They finished in time for the northeast even planting them late. Here are some pics taken today.

Azomite is awesome, its loaded with micros that plants love.

This is an explanation from google:
Azomite is a natural rock dust product that is exclusively mined in the State of Utah. Azomite is created from an ancient volcanic eruption into a seabed. Azomite is used in many different agriculture industries from growing vegetables to making golf courses lush and green.

Gardeners and farmers use Azomite for its micro-nutrient content. It doesn't throw off the PH of the soil, and can help with some of the lesser needed nutrients in your soil.
