Nute burn? Which one?

Okay, so a little more reading has opened my eyes to a few differences. I thought 6.8 was a good ph but that is because I'm used to soil and I am using the coco in pots like soil. I am using Sunshine Advanced #4 now with mostly good results. So I am seeing ph recommendations seem to be around 6-6.5, is that about right? Will the slightly high ph lockout the magnesium? As for the purple it is normal in for these girls with my temps. My lights on temps range 72-78 and off range is 55-60. It is a little lower than I would prefer but not horrible. What are recommended solutions? Like I said, I did flush it with plain water thinking I had nute burn. Next watering though I will try to bring my ph down. Is 6-6.5 before or after adding nutes? what should my runoff be? Most of the girls are doing good but I want to get this one back up to par soon.

Which also lends to the theory of nute lockout, now I am trying to figure how to correct it. Any ideas....

55F is way too low!! in that temps your plant cant get its food right, what can explane your lockouts..

good luck

They have had 55F nights the whole time they've been growing. None of the other 9 in the tent have a problem. I am hoping to move in a month or so where I will have a better setup including temp control. For now I don't think that is what is doing it though, what else?

No change in nutes, the next feeding I would have left the Grow Big out completely and just used Tiger Bloom and tea. It seems to be still getting worse I think. The flush was actually 2 days ago with just water. Any more opinions on the ph? My water comes out at 6.8 which I thought was fine but I was thinking of a soil ph:-?. I started 12/12 on 1-13 but we had a week without power that just stalled most of them. If you think 50 is bad we were 4 days at 46F throughout the house. Anyways, the Blue Dream didn't have any problems during the power outage and return. Only more recently has this begun. It has another 4-6 weeks depending on this problem. All of your help is much appreciated!

Ok. I was going to hop on the bandwagon with saying it is a deficiency, but I looked closer at your pics, and while you probably had some issues due to cold...nute burn is your largest issue...notice how dark green your leaves are...especially at the tips of the leaves that are still looking ok...nute burn during flower always look even worse then in veg...so..if you transplanted good...don't feed them if you gave them new soil, and water only when they need it and they should get whatever they need...if the newer growth looks worse then water with a few tablespoons of sugar in a gallon of water...

Well, I admit I took the hydro shop advice on the sunshine mix and never researched it. Now that I have I am finding this is a common problem. Usually at around 3-5 weeks of flowering. The peat in the mix decays and lowers the ph, the lime in it to begin with runs out so I need to add more. I have a lockout due to the ph but it is in the mix not my water. Now I have to get some lime in there somehow. Sound about right to anyone? Anyone have experience with these issues from Sunshine Advanced Mix #4?

Hmmm...well adding cal mag is kind of a quick fix...umm lime is super cheap and easy to find though...just dolomite lime...get it just about anywhere...

I just put like a table spoon and you can sprinkle some in the dirt and water, or put some in the water and slosh it all about and then water with that...it isn't a terribly picky thing to add...not like nitrogen...

What is the important part of the dolomite lime? I went to get lime and I found Calcitic Lime. I found that calcitic has more calcium and dolomite has more magnesium, which would I want?

Go read for a while until you figure out what you are actually asking. Then don't post in the middle of another thread that has nothing to do with your question please.
