^^ eastcoastmo how is the stone of the Peak NL? I ordered a pack and assume very sedative or even ko type but am hoping for a more balanced effect.
Exactly as OGevil said, very narcotic amd energetic but mixed with skunk it gives a nice stoney effect and then turns to energetic :)

Any recommendations. I want something with a heavy indica stone
i would probably go with NLx afghan NLx blueberry or NL x hashplant for the couch lock thing
quite a few seed companies make these crosses especially the Canadian ones

i have some NL1x hashplant from FOS
not run these yet though

peace

Mr Nice Ortega is a really good representation of old school northern lights but you have to be real careful from week 4 of flowering as some do hermie with a slight change in conditions. Shanti has noted this on his forums a few times. The plants are very nice though.
I had no problem with it herming the only thing Shanti said was to cut the lower growth that does not get much light cause it can stress the little popcorns but it is not the only line he said that about I'd say it was about every strain. Of course stress can still cause a hermie but I only seen two people that I can remember with Ortega herms and he sells a lot of them one goes about every week at auction which is the best place cause you will pay Nirvana prices with the amount of seed you get well under retail value. So figure every year 52 packs go at auction plus god knows how many go for retail and the only 2 I remember are from years ago so if you do the math it seems like a solid strain to me and one of the reports I swear the guy said he stress tested them.

Yeah I've had no issues with herms either, was merely noting it after a long coversation I had with Shanti about it. They have been stress tested, its some that do it.

303 seeds Aurora Project "citrus" was legit, the males from those seeds made some truly incredible hybrids, I made F2s. I have a ton. An awful lot of hybrids as well. Imparted a strong lemon drop flavor to a number of hybrids. Including Cookies.
If they can be found, that is my suggestion

I have grown out all of the NL varieties from Peak except for Texada Timewarp x NL.

IN MY EXPERIENCE the NL was quite stoney and setative, as well as the Kush NL. The Northern Berry was more balanced and euphoric than the others. I only had 2 Northern Skunk ladies and they were quite different than eachother, one leaning much to the side of Sweet Skunk.

Hope this helps.

I sent cash to Peak the 6th of January and received the NL seeds today. Over a month, so be patient if you order from Peak Seeds. The stealth was great btw. I had trouble opening the seed package and mixed up some freebies with the NL, ugh. Think I have it sorted now but another warning to the wise. Was not expecting any freebies with first order.

That's exactly what i found out on my search for fem NL seeds. In the end i decided to go with a NL cross (Pyramid Seeds Anestesia, NL x Black Domina).
I've grown a NL5 from Bodhi once and it was very leafy. Could have been my fault but apparently NL can be leafy.
You are going to like the anesthesia...
There's a couple of good reports on here.

I had a nice keeper of her a couple years ago. very powerful and narcotic.
