I put down the scrog screen to start training . :D
She is eating like a hog and I topped her off with a gallon food today .
The scrog frame is a very tight fit and I did not need my clamps to hold it up. I shoved it in there and The tent barely zipped up. That was a close one!

I lowered the light to 25 inches and turned it up a little bit more.
it’s so much fun to weave the branches and tuck the leaves!:weed:

I was pleasantly surprised to see such nice reflections! The half circle on the frame reflects onto the tent to make a full circle.View attachment 4408534
And the wall piece is coming along as well.

Looking just amazingly green and healthy. One of the things that I don't think a lot of people appreciate about the wf is how quick mj grows in it.

Thank you! She seems to be responding quite well to the environment. The system is built for the most optimal high performing perfect growin environment. The large bubbling air stone in the bottom bucket and the drip ring give an huge boost in oxygenated food . It is a high maintenance work in progress because it is a small reservoir ( which assists is the acceleration growth) . daily checks with feeding are important to me as well as keeping an eye on temperature and humidity levels. I like to keep the Rez topped full as much as I can, and weekly full Rez changes I look forward to.

I don’t plan on any vacations until she is harvested so no need for a back up Rez.

Thank you so much! What a nice compliment. As you know I am in my “circle” Art period and I wanted full circles on the frame itself but because the frame Is not a completely flat surface I had much difficulty painting a full circle so opted for the half circle. I had NO idea I would be gifted a full circle with help of the reflective surface of the tent!
You are going to love the scrogging process!
The branches are very flexible so don’t be scared to bend them over to full potential. They love the stress and it seems to invigorate rapid response and huge buds. Your white rhino Buds are going to be massive. I can’t wait to See how big they get! I’m so happy we Were able to connect here at the same time with our waterfarm projects underway. You are an inspiration as well my friend!

Lol! Yes! What great positive vibes you have! I love ii! Thank you so much.
That would be so cool to make you a custom screen! I would be totally down with that.
Its one thing to see the individual prices its even nicer to see it all take shape !
Thank you my friend! Hopefully I don’t disappoint.

Thank you all for stopping by and have
A beautiful day! Happy growing :peace:bongsmilie

Does the pump run 24/7 or on a timer with these?

If on a timer what kind of on/off times are used?

I've had 6 of these waterfarms sittin in my shed for about 2 years someone gave to me.Plan to put them to use when i'm able to set a garden back up.

I'm curious, what is your add back method? Full nutes, half or none? I've tried all three styles but really haven't settled on what I like best.

GoLdD
Keep note of what your ppm reading is going in to the Rez.

Before you add more nutes check the ppm reading of the run off. Is it stable?
Is the ppm reading the same as what you added originality?

If it is you have the option of adding back the same strength ppm with Nutes or getting your PPMs higher by adding more nutrient to bump the ppm reading up it.

So I mix up another gallon of food and top her off with that.

or you can be lazy and just add water once in a while.
then I feel guilty. Lol.
I prefer to be consistent.

but if your ppm reading is higher then you would like in your run off add plain water with no-nutrients to adjust it back down to a more reasonable level.

And no need to ever get over 1200 or so PPMs .

Watch your leave color. Is it kinda light? Add more nutes.

I really just try to stay in a general range .

That’s a good question !

I can't believe how quickly they've taken off for you in that waterfarm system. I'm going to try that non topping idea next time too.

By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases.

It may be the nitrogen that makes the bubbling system work so well.

I know!! I shouldn’t have FIMmed her!!! It has made for utter confusion up top right now.

Thank you! Yes the screen is down very far and the main branch is not strong enough to take the pulling yesterday and it tilted to the side so I backed off the scrog screen and straightened up the branch.
I move the scrog screen up and down a lot . It’s never in a fixed position. It’s lodged in the sides of my tent up against the tent bars and not fixed to anything.:)its free floating that way.

Jeez I completely forgot so much about my previous topping operations! Looking back on a previous journal I did a really great interesting topping job called Uncle Ben’s method.. and if you do it right at the 5 th node you get 4 main colas!

I enjoy topping and seeing the regrowth. I totally understand your liking to do that. I fucked up my plant with the FIM job. Her leaves are deformed. I took the scrog screen out of the tent because her main branch is too weak and skinnier then normal. I contribute this to her lanky long stretch as a seedling. I soppose my light was too high and dimmed too much. So I will have to remember this next time and have it lower.

now I have to think if I want to do that Uncle Ben’s top job because She is at the 5 th node. Major top off job.

I've never had or looked at a water farm. How does the air pump push solution up to the drip ring?

Great thread!
Hi! Welcome , my friend! Thanks for stopping by and for such kind words!
The air is pushed through plastic tubing .

Well, I understand air goes through the tube! lol. How does the air pump push water up through the drip ring? I was considering building a water farm since I haven't grown in one yet, but I don't yet get how the water is pumped without using a water pump.

There are a bunch of contraptions I can’t explain sorry. It has to do with that tube that goes down into the bucket attached to the T bar on the drip ring. Sorry I can’t help. I just put it together and it works.
