On the 19th i also planted 7 autos in the ground too. It was really hot, about 35-40C 95-105F and very sunny.
They were about 3 weeks from seed. 3 auto Purple, 2 Blue Mystic, and 2 Black Gold (maple leaf indica).
They started wilting within 5 MINUTES. I hurried and watered them, about 15 gallons of water total to 7 plants. The bugs were so bad i couldnt stay. I wonder if they survived?? :-( I will be going to check on them in a couple days, it rained a little yesterday so ill hope for the best and expect 3 out of 7 to have lived lol. Brutal day for a transplant.

I don't know where you're at but here the plants are starting their stretch before flowering so it's too late to be topping and pinching them from what I've been told but I'm still pinching stems on taller shoots to try n control the stretch my buddy who grows outside said I should expect 2lbs a plant cause of the amount of shoots they have it's pretty amazing just one branch has more shoots than all 12 plants combined from my indoor closet finding a place to dry it is gonna be my biggest problem I think I may just have to take over the laundry room for a cpl wks n make the wife go to a laundry mat til it's all jarred up lol

So i will be going to check on my babies today. Cant wait to see the 3 big girls and see if the 7 automatics survived the intense heat during transplant week. have not been able to get up there since the 19th.
Ill take some pics and do an update tomorrow. bongsmilie
Its only rained once since the 19th, and only 3 or 4 times this whole year. Pretty much a drought.
We shall see how the northern forest treats an unkept plant. So far so ood with the critters, bugs and people. There were no trails or anything besides a few deer beds and some bear shit and coyote tracks last time.

Checked on the plants yesterday. We have had NO rain in weeks, hot temps, cool at night. I thought the plants would be hurting. Maybe dead.
They are HUGE. Green crack is over 8 feet tall, LA widow is a bush about 7 feet high and 8 feet wide, and the sugar black rose is a tiny bit smaller than the LA widow.
They have not started to flower or show and pistils yet. When will they start????
They are very nice and green and healthy, nothing attacking them. The LA widow had a bit of purple on some leaves, i gave them all 5 gallons of PH Perfect Connoisseur with Big Bud and Bud Blood, some extra calmag. I also added some time released tomato fert to the soil.
The autos i planed a couple weeks ago have ALL survived, i dont know how, they were almost dead when they were transplanted lol.
The purples are budding, the blue mystic and Black gold are not. I dont know if they will autoflower, they were 3 weeks old when they went into the ground, and THAT was 3 weeks ago almost. Not even and pistils at all on the Blue Mystic.
I threw a green crack clone, a small one, into the ground at the same time as the autos, it really funny looking, tall and skinny, NO branches.
I am getting pics ready and i will upload them tonite.
Have your plants started to flower yet??

august5 001.JPG august5 003.JPG august5 011.JPG august5 014.JPG august5 015.JPG august5 023.JPG So heres the updated pics. Some autos i threw in the ground and the big plants.
Theyre pretty huge now, have not started to flower. Theyre getting an enormous amount of sun, but not alot of rain. The soil is beautifully rich and moist anyways.
When should they start flowering?
Can I get an estimate on yield. I have NO idea what they might yield.
These pics were taken august 5. The person in the pic is almost 5.5 feet tall, to give an approximation on the height of the plants.
