Hi to all the Northern growers out there.
Looks like it may turn out to be a decent season this year, after that insane winter we had. 90% of the snow is gone, ground is pretty much thawed out.
Going to start the girls soon indoors and veg em for a few weeks.
Im at 42.5 N lattitude. Going to run about 30 autos and 15 photos outside in a pine forest, south facing slopes.
Promix HP and some time release fert.
So far i have these strains to run, some were freebies over time, some just random picks. I still have more to think of just getting ideas for strains that will do good.
What are you running this year and whats your approx lattitude?
Bubblegummer
Girl Scout Cookies
Critical OG
Fruity Chronic Juice
Tangilope
Cheese
Flowerbomb Kush
Cinderella 99
Gigabud
White Lavender
LA Widow
Santa Autoflower
Speedy Gonzales Autoflower
a Kush Bagseed
Those are the seeds i have so far, not sure if I will put all of them outside, but maybe just to see which strains finish lol.
Looking to get some afghani and blueberry too and who knows what else.

I just popped the Fast and Vast last night and its going outdoors.. I'm hoping that they will be as good as the few grow journals that I've seen. As far as the Strawberry Blue, I got them as freebies and have wanted to try them for a while.. I was afraid that they wouldn't have time to finish outdoors where I'm at. This way if they don't have time to finish, I'm not really out anything. But, I know that I'll be pretty disappointed if that happens.

at the time i grew the strawberry blue, i had a few other strains going (romulan diesel, pink kush, critical hog, bubblegummer) and the strawberry blue finished first, followed by the bubblegummer, romulan, PK, then hog. SB was picked at a couple days shy of 8 weeks i think and was about 90% cloudy, 10% amber. Very dense nugs.

I think i will order 4 C99 from Female, i have grown their bubblegummer and it was FANTASTIC pink bubblegum pheno, fully flowered a huge yield in 8.5 weeks.
I just noticed FEMALE had a OUTDOOR C99....maybe 2 of each to see the difference. ...

Dont forget about the POLL option at the top of the page on the amount of VEG time before they go outdoors :-)
So far it looks like a month or more is best....
I am going to pop some end of next week. Should be able to go in the ground by 1st or 2nd week of june, probably 2nd week..

That's what I was hoping to hear. The weather in my area around spring and fall is very very unpredictable. When growing outdoors, I have to stick to fast finishers. This will be my first run of autoflowers though.. I've been wanting to try them for a while and an early harvest couldn't hurt anything.

The bubblegummer was great, fast growing, decent yield. It responds amazing to topping. I have a lemon skunk as well, 60 day lemon auto, looks to be a shrimpy plant, is flowering fast tho.
