North Korea's Kim Jong-un: Stop Him Now

Considering how the US bullies most of the not-so-developed world
Agreed but one look no farther than SK to see what a unified Korea, aligned with the West, would look like. I have a hard time blaming the US (and the West in general) for the mess in NK. It's just a matter of time. The only question is, "how bloody will it be?".

Can anyone explain why the south Koreans were so dumb as to build their capitol city like 50 miles from the border in range of all the NK artillery and missiles? Might have made sense to consider moving it back in the 60's or something.

As for Kim Jong Un, the man is an absolute monster of the highest order and the world would be a much better place without him. He lets his people starve and eat each other while spending almost the entire GDP on weapons to threaten his neighbors and the U.S. with. Dissenters have 3 entire family generations sent to concentration camps to be experimented on, tortured and starved. He had his own half brother assassinated in an international airport with VX nerve agent. He CANNOT be allowed to continue developing longer range missiles which will eventually be able to hit the U.S. He's basically every bit as bad as Hitler, only smaller in scale. It would make sense to deal with him NOW rather than let the problem continue getting worse. The bastard has gotta go!

So, what's the next move you'd make, were you calling the shots?

If the US decides to hit NK first to protect the "Fatherland" and a few million brown people die in the process half the world away I doubt that will matter much except for the political fallout. Still lots better than radioactive fallout. :)

The worst part of NK getting a missile to the mainland isn't the city it might wipe out but the electromagnetic pulse that could knock down the house of cards known as the electrical grid. That could knock out power to the whole lower 48 that could take years to repair and the resulting chaos would do way more damage than a dozen nukes from NK.

One mustn't overlook the fact that Russia has been busy modernizing it's military and building up it's armaments quietly in the background. For what purpose? A crippled Amerika would be easier pickings for a power hungry Putin eager to make the USSR great again. Stay tuned for more developments on that front.

:peace:

I'd start by seeing if having Kimmy assassinated is plausible. If not, it's gonna be a bloodbath and it will only get worse the longer we wait. There's no future in which NK becomes a functional modern nation while led by little wannabe Hitler.

wow, had no idea it was possible to have instincts so bad that they led you to do the stupidest and most counterproductive thing at every possible turn.

the longer we wait, the more information makes its way into north korea and poisons the propaganda they are fed. the citizens will eventually stop believing the bullshit. most already have. to assassinate their leader would be to make a martyr out of him.

you are dumb.

When are you gonna enlist?
I'm not going to enlist, because I'm too old. But the hundreds of thousands of great Americans who did enlist and profited are now hopefully going to get the chance to pay the world back by dis-arming a nuclear power hell-bent on causing another world war.

You could definitely work in some office somewhere, fetching coffee and whatnot.

You're just a lazy pussified bitch.

Kim wants for nothing and the people have no power. You seem to be arguing that the desperation of the people will prompt a nuclear attack. Kim lives like a god, he would be stupid to piss it all away by nuking the south.
Economic sanctions, if China would step out of the way and allow them to become effective, would erode the North Korea people's tolerance for their entitled, immature, rich "leader". The purpose of sanctions has always been to cause revolt. And now that Trump has forced China to remove the lifeline they've been extending to Kim, maybe the sanctions will finally work.

OTOH, when sanctions start working, Kim will feel threatened. And then the nuclear arsenal that past US presidents have allowed Kim to build will become a problem.

Stop him now at a high cost, or he'll eventually plunge the world into global war, at a much higher cost.

Ask the pussy Neville Chamberlain, and his modern day pussy counterpart, Barack Obama. And then ask Winston Churchill. Should the bully be stopped now, or should we pacify him and declare "Peace with Honor"?

China owns Trump, retard. Not the other way around.

He doesn't want to lose his trademarks, or his daughters trademarks, or his sweatshops.

You're completely mental...

They can't even feed their people and you're scared of them.

Supposedly NK has enough well protected traditional weapons trained on Seoul that at the first sign of a serious attack they can level the city like it was hit by a nuke. 10 million+ hostages likely play into considerations about what to do about Kimberley.
"Well protected" is relative.
Very few things are well protected when it comes to nukes. Hell, they don't even have to be that accurate as long as the wind is blowing in the direction of your enemy.

No Buck, Trump owns China. Granted, Trump is a stupid idiot in general terms. But he's a brilliant business man. And China is all about business in America. If not for the STUPID trade deals given up by previous presidents, China would importing OUR goods, instead of the other way around.

IDK if Trump will change that. But he's threatening to change it, which makes China afraid, which makes North Korea vulnerable.

Trump is loyal to money.
He likes it when people are loyal to him, but I doubt if he reciprocates. It will be interesting to see what happens if Flynn gets immunity and flips...

Nice ! fascist fucks lol. its so wierrd that they even put chevrons to point which way the ball goes in play. WTF .
Do you have evidence of NPR defending wrongful acts of the government? I listen to NPR every morning and afternoon to and from work. It is far from a partisan mouthpiece. Some of the most comprehensive and balanced reporting I've experienced.
