Noobie grower

Hi all just signed up to this forum been learning ALOT from you all just started my own grow gone with big bud strain bcos I read its a good cash crop successfully germed my seeds n got 5 little seedlings come through got my grow room sorted decided to go with 2 600w HPS to grow 5 plants in soil using CANNA A+B CANNABOOST and RHIZOTONIC my room size a full bedroom but seen as it is my first grow didn't want to grow a lot of plants bcos it is my first go at growing would appreciate any advice from anyone I will post some pics when I get my seedlings into my grow room

I understand a lot of people just do it for there own stash but I quit smoking weed when I had my daughter so I'm just in it for the money I hope I will get some feedback from you all

I will do when I get them in grow room was on a budget so it's a bit amateur. Hopefully if this goes well I'll be able to upgrade it

Yeah, pics. You know, you should be able to put 5 plants under just 1, 60 w, hps. It's good for about 4'x4'. you do not need 2, 600w, hps lights for only 5 plants. pics would help.

I agree save your money, only one of those lights are necessary. what are you using for veg?

At the moment if I have understood the question they are under just a regular fluorescent light all doing fine so far. The are in 3" pots with 25% perlite I have used RHIZOTONIC in first few waterings as after reading lots of posts it is safe to use from the start 20ml to 5 litres of water.

Also I was going to Veg for a while as space is not an issue in grow space and was hoping for a big yield

Just keep in mind, you are like 1 person in 1 trillion people who came up with this idea. Of course most of them are belly-up right now wondering wtf no one will buy their "cash-crop BIG BUD".....
Competition is very stiff and BIG BUD sucks ass.

It's all good as long as I earn enough and persuade my friend to do a bigger grow should be better next time round thanks for the info on big bud sucks next time will do more plants and try another strain.

Went and got a couple of new lights for the little 1's what do you think???

watch the stretch, get the cfls closer, get a small fan on them

Yeah agreed with Critical I would lower the light a bit or raise the plant up to the light more. Definitely a fan on the seedlings to help strengthen the stem and branches, also good circulation with fresh air is a must! Good luck growing all the best!

Thanks for the advice lowered light to about 1-2 inches (Is this to close?) don't wanna burn them and got small desk fan on them aswell

yeah, just keep them no further than 6 inches away from those lights. if that picture shows how big your growspace is, I'd switch to flower in 3-5 weeks.

Should have gotten some bulbs in the 6500k spectrum to help with the veg since your going with cfls the one's you have now would be better for flowering but will work
