Nirvana Blue Mystic Fem Auto

I had no luck germinating the bag seed a buddy gave me so I got off the wallet and sent some cash to Nirvana for good genetics. They were running one of their sales on Blue Mystic which I've read is supposed to be a low odor strain.

My first attempt didn't germinate so I tried again not expecting much but 3 days later I some some happy little round green leaves!

Because I wasn't expecting much, I wasn't really prepared. I had most of what I needed so I threw together a Wattsaver style hempy and transplanted the peat pellet with sprout into it. Fast forward a week. Company staying over on the weekend and I couldn't get in there to check the plant, it hit the rez and grew right up into the 42 watt CFL, scorching the fresh top growth.

A week after that, the drain hose got a kink in it causing the hempy to flood. After all that I was ready to pull it up and start over. She came back strong! I can't say enough good things about the hempy bucket system and the Nirvana genetics.

I hope she doesn't get any more stinky than she is now though. I'll have to pull it until I can afford some odor control.

I've made plenty of boneheaded first time grower mistakes but she just keeps growing.

If you check out my grow under grow journals I just harvest my Nirvana BM auto last night. I too had several issues while growing this plant, because its my first time lol. You can see how she turned out over there if ud like.

Id say the smell on her was actually stronger than expected so I built a cheap DIY airfilter i found on the internet. its been working for me. You may want to try it.

Since it's growing in such a tight space, I'm thinking some light defoliation might be in order. I've got a half dozen bud sites starting and some of them are in the middle and quite shaded. I've been moving the fan leaves around to let some light in, but I'm loosing the fight for light. I know defoliating autoflowers is not recommended, but this grow has been full of compromises so we'll see how it goes.
