last will be nearly impossible to predict, probably a bunch when federal law changes
on the next front, NY is on the edge, some recent news
about 3 weeks ago NY's MMJ bill made it through both legislative houses, that's the furthest so far
and it went to a pro MMJ governor, and then the piece of crap vetoed it, state's budget battle took out MMJ
we look to be on hold for the moment, but next year looks very promising

Everyone says TX last? look at all the border problems. where do they have the doobie awards? possession of a QP is a misdemeanor. They got a great list of norml attorneys http://norml.com/index.cfm?Group_ID=4566&wtm_view=legal . El Paso is seriously talkin about leagalization already. check it out -> Toke of the Town

Louisiana is gonna be the last. they got nothin! well maybe Matthew Zugsberger and his medical necessity defense! LA Read More This is the only thing LA got!

Massachussetts - possession under an oz is $100 ticket (civil offense). & cultivating under 50lbs is a misdemeanor. I'ld say thats pretty green. lol

i personally feel new york next, and the good ole boot (LA), last... you would think places like nola would accomadate for something, but i guess not... its shitty really... its not like we can have monstrous outdoor harvest here like in humboldt, so really, what would it be hurting to legalize it... the heat and humidity would discourage most "soon to be outdoor growers" anyways... only the dedicated would survive... viva la weed revolution!!!!! and i do think louisiana was one of the last states to have a norml chapter... we are way behind the times with current movements here...

HEY BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
We need all the help we can get!

Kansas Texas? lol
lol i was born in kansas and meth seems to be the big one... its actually pretty hard to find weed there especially if you werent born and raised there. my boyfriend stayed in kansas for a year and couldnt find anything really... except some dirt as weed up in the end before we moved. But moving is pretty fun i love to travel.

I feel like ohio is the next one to legalize it... at least i hope they do. and texas or virginia will be one of the lasts. i mean how else will virginia get money if they dont bust pot smokers.... then they wont be able to take care of the lazy and stupid. Virginia is the weirdest state i have ever lived in, but i guess thats because its a commonwealth. I have asked many people around here what commonwealth stands for and everyone says idk. even asked some banks and they had no clue....

Your crazy, that never happened? The bill passed the first house and was dead locked on the second house. It failed to pass because it did not get a majority. They vote on the bill again in September.

I used to live in TN near KY which is a commonwealth too, I wondered the same thing. "government based on the common consent of the people". It comes from when the King of Great Britain still had some control in the states.
Its like Louisiana being the only state under Nepoleonic Law, it really only makes a difference in civil law. Property, Divorces, etc.
I don't see that being a prob for MMJ. After all DC just got an MMJ law thats not to far from Virginia huh? The domino's will all fall eventually!

it did, it was hard to make sense of it because of the budget process
paterson said he would veto everything, and he did
water over the dam now, still not law
it would be great to get another vote this year, but not much gets down now, all the politicians are in campaign mode

that is very awesome rukus... so basically that link is saying, we all need to make a road tripto cali, get medicinally approved, and use the prop 215 card in louisiana, due to the lack of proper resources to provide us medicinal ones... that would be awesome... i'll take the trip for that...

I tell you what man South Carolina right now is a pain in the ass place to get high.....i had a half a quarter on me and i got taken to jail for the night, had to pay 500 bucks and cant drive now for 6 months......of course that aint stoppin me, but damn if it didnt put a hurtin...i heard somethin about legalization being put on the ballot in November but i dont know if its true i gotta look it up and find out!! Government needs to quit with all the bull shit!! people can go out drinkin and die every day because of it, but i guess 0 recorded deaths for marijuana seems like a valid reason for making it illegal right!!! damn they got the shit backwards dont they and i cant wait till it changes like i know all yall cant!!!

kricket my brother, you remember your history? prohibition ring any bells? people should be able to do as they wish in the privacy of their own homes as long as it doesn't affect anyone else... making more stuff illegal is not the answer...

I know last September Mass. established a marijuana tax sticker to put on your pot, so I would think they are definately on the way...especially with Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont already starting to rake in the tax dollars!!! Now we need New Hampshire and CT to get on board.

@ bean: no they didn't, the decriminalized amounts under one oz to a ticket, 100$ fine if under one oz... still not legal here, let alone a tax resource yet...

@ nl3004.kind The state of Mass. has issued a tax stamp it hit the books in Sept. 09 and was approved, a year ago this week. I never said it was legal. What I meant in my words are because of the tax stamp it will only make common sense that they have something to put it on in the future aka...medical weed. The post is about what state you think will legalize next not who is legal now. There are 3 states in NE not legal and I said out of them we lead the way towards being legal. you can google the info if you like. Matter of fact go to Norml website search Tax Stamp/Mass the tax stamp info is the last paragraph below all the sentencing info. It says $3.30 per gram on the stamp and says it's for legal weed holders. I was going to print a couple shirts out with tax stamp on it for fun...It's a big fan leaf with state of Mass. "All I got in this world is my balls and my word and I not break them for nobody"...lol. (In my scarface voice)
