NewsWeek Israel won't stop spying on us

This article in todays NewsWeek Magazine is the follow up article from tuesday, very interesting article.
I know this forum has a few Israel first characters, just wondering how people here feel about these activities
and try to at least read some of the article before firing comments of anti whatever. I am concerned for the security of our nation.

There are a lot of Israeli backpackers in Central America. Some of the coolest people I have met and hopefully lifelong friends are Israelis that I met and went scuba diving with. I stayed with some friends in a big house and it was called "the kibbutz" which means something like a commune. We partied hard and shared almost everything. The Israelis in particular treated me like family and were even receptive to my criticism of their (and my) government.

I don't think we can do much to stop zionist spies, but I would love to have Israeli backpackers going around in the US.

If he is implying that the state is illegitimate, yes. It is a theocratic apartheid state founded upon conquest. It would be legitimate in my estimation if the Palestinians were made full citizens with rights equal to the rest and if it treated all of its inhabitants equally.

the people that send you your paycheck are founded on conquest too. they're still in violation of many treaties to this day, too.

No, I would rather spend my illegitimate paycheck in poor countries that need money being spent in them.
