Newbie needing help with a bubbliscious CFL soil grow

Hey everybody, im a newbie in every sense of the term. I Recenttly recieved bubbliscious autoflower seeds from nirvana and germinated them in a paper towel in a tupperware, 1 germinated with a tap root after 24 hours and the other 2 seeds cracked open but never sprouted tap roots after 4 days of germinating in the paper towel. I planted the first one in soil and covered it with plastic wrap and it has since sprouted, i helped it out by removing the seed casing which was still stuck on it, but its leaves haven't spread out, its been a total of 1 week since planting it. so i have 3 questions.

1. for the seed that has sprouted, should i be worried that it has not expanded its leaves yet or am I being a neurotic newbie?

2. For the 2 seeds that cracked their outer casing but did not show the tap root, I planted them 2 days ago in soil pots (Final grow size as i read that autoflowers do not handle the stress of transplantation well) to try and germinate them in their final growing solution. what do you guys think the chance of them turning into viable plants are? and again if im being a neurotic newbie, again, its ok to say it.

3. at what point should i abandon the 2 seeds who have yet to sprout? im thinking if they havent sprouted in a week from planting I will begin to germinate 2 more of the autoflowers? any help would be appreciated guys.

P.S. my grow setup is 2 42w CFL bulbs (to start, ill add more as they grow), 3 gallon pots, distilled water, and MG organic soil. i wont get into the nutes as im not there yet but i have MG tomato for the veg stage.

Any pics?

Are the seedlings in 3 gal pots? (Recommend much smaller containers to start seedlings, then transplant later.)

You won't need any nutes for the entire veg stage in that MG organic soil, so don't feed them MG tomato. Unless you are going to veg for more than 8 weeks.

He's growing autos, I think he's right about the hassle of transplanting. Give the seeds that crack that you recently planted a week before you move on. Worry about nutes later you got something for veg that's good as soon as you see preflowers switch to flowering nutes.

Thanks for the reply guys, I started germinating two more autoflower seeds in the expectation that the cracked ones won't sprout. I appreciate the tips on the nutes, do you have any recommendations for flowering nudes? Preferrably any that are available at normal home improvement stores?

I don't know about nutes from home improvement stores, but I like fox farm big bloom. Also I tried that mg organic soil once and had terrible results

I know that Fred Meyer in my area just started to carry Earth Juice organic fertilizers and I find them to work very well and are fairly affordable. They also carry Alaska Morbloom which I've used as well and is also Organic. One complaint about the Alaska is that it is a fish emulsion and smells funky. I also agree with the comments earlier that you will not need to use a fertilizer of any sort for a while with the soil you have.

As for advice, I would recommend that you buy a cheap temperature/humidity monitor and watch those closely. I know from a recent experience that those two elements of your environment can keep things well maintained or reek havoc on your grow. Also watch your pH as fertilizers can cause it to fluctuate drastically.

everyone has their preference. obviously it would be better to get something from the hydro shop like that fox stuff... but for veg im pretty sure this liquid stuff will do, about half the recommended amount starting 2 week of veg . but again, get more opinions on it... i wouldnt want you to fuck your crop.

Hey man! I grew this strain for my first grow. I put them through everything, bad ph, no nutes, miracle grow soil, transplanting (some advise against for auto flowers), messed up light schedules. etc... and it still grew.. You really can't go wrong. But, as an auto flower, you shouldn't expect much yields. My one plant only yielded 8g (although clearly It had horrible conditions). The smoke was in my top 3 ever. Unhandled bud is so much better :D

Also, the effort+cost of electricity, was not worth the yield. I'm doing a regular plant this time around, and topped it a couple times, much better results !
