Hey everybody, im a newbie in every sense of the term. I Recenttly recieved bubbliscious autoflower seeds from nirvana and germinated them in a paper towel in a tupperware, 1 germinated with a tap root after 24 hours and the other 2 seeds cracked open but never sprouted tap roots after 4 days of germinating in the paper towel. I planted the first one in soil and covered it with plastic wrap and it has since sprouted, i helped it out by removing the seed casing which was still stuck on it, but its leaves haven't spread out, its been a total of 1 week since planting it. so i have 3 questions.
1. for the seed that has sprouted, should i be worried that it has not expanded its leaves yet or am I being a neurotic newbie?
2. For the 2 seeds that cracked their outer casing but did not show the tap root, I planted them 2 days ago in soil pots (Final grow size as i read that autoflowers do not handle the stress of transplantation well) to try and germinate them in their final growing solution. what do you guys think the chance of them turning into viable plants are? and again if im being a neurotic newbie, again, its ok to say it.
3. at what point should i abandon the 2 seeds who have yet to sprout? im thinking if they havent sprouted in a week from planting I will begin to germinate 2 more of the autoflowers? any help would be appreciated guys.
P.S. my grow setup is 2 42w CFL bulbs (to start, ill add more as they grow), 3 gallon pots, distilled water, and MG organic soil. i wont get into the nutes as im not there yet but i have MG tomato for the veg stage.
