What's your lat? do you get high humidity in April?. Australian Climate is made for pure sativas especially if you're below 35 lat.
Highly recommend Orient express f1 hybrid that's only slightly sativa dominant(60%), find the chinese phenos that'll stay short,wide and yield extremely well with high nutrient levels - finish mid april probably. Or Panama which finishes at the end of April and yield really good with 6-7 sun hours, some old school growers say it's the best plant they've found and it's Jorge Cervantes favourite - probably the most exotic strain I've grown but had the worst weather at the most critical finishing time. You can grow some dutch strains if you want but they just don't have that 'special' thing about them that the pure bred landrace based genetics.
For Indicas you could try out X18(Pakistani), Deep Chunk(afghanistan) or Pakistani Chitral Kush for some exotic landrace indicas.

Haha it's hard to describe smells from weed, especially Panama and malawi cos they don't smell like regular aromas anywhere, just something else altogether.

Yeah I need to suss some spots too, probably use the Malawi one again and might grow out Ace's Malawi again but in fem format. Some kiwi from IC is gonna send me a 5 fem pack. Do you have a GPS? if you do you can go on some missions to find better spots without getting lost. Sweet!, good to hear they came through so quick like mine too. Na you want indicas in an area that dries out early or get morning sun because when it comes to the last 2 weeks you need as least moisture as possible, put the sativas in the more wet places although try to avoid wet places near rivers or long grassy flats next to them. Panama can handle 10 days with pouring wet weather with no sun before they start to rot. I dunno where i'm gonna put mine either, might just do scattered singles.

I'll grow PDC and OE together, hope to get a DC pheno but with high yield. You'll get some sort of coloured pheno from Panama be it pink hair, red hair or purple although I'm loving the green pheno. I've heard the original JH yielded more than the Afghani cut I had which was pretty impressive too. Yeah most likely a metal halide, they're massive football shaped lightbulbs. I use a 2 x 18w cool tubes for clones, 180 watt LED for veg and 2 x 600 HPS and a 600 MH in the middle for a nice even spectrum fir flower.

I used to germinate the paper towel method but I now just put a seed into soil in peat pots and let them germinate naturally as it does the same thing and you don't damage the taproots. Yeah I harvested the Malawis on Tuesday and looks to be more bud than I thought, hopefully get a pound. There was a fair bit lost to budrot, maybe an ounce or 2. Yeah the thing with weed being illegal is that fuckwit gang member or low lifes try to make money out of it and just don't have the intelligence to know when to harvest and how to dry it properly; you know that kind of outdoors that has no smell and tastes extremely harsh?.
We need to bring the original sativas back that got NZ's outdoor reputation, everyone around the world knows we produce fire.

Yes Im pretty happy with how quick they came through with pretty good stealth to. Sweet as ill make sure all the palnts are in relatively dry places especially the indicas.

Yeah it's hard work but worth the security, they'll keep coming back once they've had some until they're completely gone.
Malawi has a completely different smell to any other weed I've had, it's like a natural vicks(that shit you put on your chest when sick) with a kinda sweet overtone.

I don't know, hopefully they're faster flowering or start flower before march. Yeah legend dude sending me them haha, a GPS would be good for scattered singles if you forget where they are. Yeah other seed distributors take way longer, SOS took 14 days and the attitude took a few months! those bastards fucked me around so I wont use them again.
I think you have a better indica season down there anyway. Less rain,humidity etc.
Definitely find a spot that'll get 6-8 hours minimum, planting on the edge of hills with gorse is primo.

I use yates black magic seed raising mix, just wet the peat cups and soil and put a non germinated seed in for the least stress as I've found out. Yeah man so keen for that strain, those extreme purple phenos look better than any plant I've seen. Yeah all the Panama phenos are great, they just didn't turn out that great this season because of that 2-3 last weeks of finishing with no sun and pouring rain, you can't expect too much with weather like that. Really good yield potential with the Panama, the green ones the best because it was least affected by mould. The red one is better than the pink and has smaller buds that weigh more and turn purple at the end.

Old school MH grower by the sounds of it, good shit lol i like MH better. The Malawi ended getting a total of 17 ozs excluding budrot loses(1-2oz) and is pretty strong already but I'm not going to smoke it until it's a bit more cured, I'll chuck some pics up later.
Keen as to grow it again to see the different phenos and hopefully get one that finishes mid may. Yeah I hate people who grow purely for money.

Cheers man, tried a bit of her snap drird last night and she knocked my socks off, the blueberry kicks in after about an hour and a half and its pure relaxation from there.
She's actually about 60% indica as the cross was to a white shark which is half sativa. This pheno seemed to be the widow structure with the skunk and blueberry smell. The widow high comes first with the blueberry afterwards :)

Yeah fuck that ae I dont want my plants eaten! The Malawi sounds nice I bet it would make some good crosses. I bet with a good cure itl be potent? Ill have a smoke report for my bud soonish. Ive got a 130w grow lush cfl 6400k 8,000 lumens coming from Aus and a cfl lamp cord thing so that should be algood to start my plants of next season.

Yea maybe the seeds will be better. Damn man sounds like herbies is the way to go then? Ill defiantly be getting seeds from them again.
Yea it probably is a better indica season down here id say but much much better for sativas up your way. Wish I lived near the hills because that would be primo planting in gorse.
I think im going to have the PDC, PCK and 2 LSD together and then the two Panama together and maybe a small cotton candy or two somewhere else. Or ill just put the plants as 2s scattered around. If I can keep my plants low or train them to be low I could put a couple of the indica doms or freebies out a bit latter but Idk how Id train them outdoors.

What did yours yield? Also do you have any cotton candy weed pics? Cant wait to grow these nice Panamas :)
Wow 17 oz awesome! Great yeilds. No one has plants anymore by the looks of it.
