New York Growers Thread

Even if it does happen I think it's best to lay low from government involvement. I think this thread slows down because no one wants their name out there in a non legal state and it's not outdoor season. What's in your indoor grows?

I have 3 Green Crack's going in ProMix. Dropped the beans on 12/6 so I'll update as I get any real growth. Currently seedlings with healthy roots starting

I hope it does...my door got kicked in last month...my neighbor upstairs was selling dope and got caught when he re-d up...cops got a warrent to search the entire crib and kicked in my door...put a box cutter to my tent and destroyed 5 plants...all in Veg. stage...thank god...i didn't get arrested, but i did get a ticket and i have to go to court in Jan. with a possession of marijuana charge. Cops told me id have to pay a fine and that would be it...Anyone experienced beg to differ? Should i get a lawyer for this or is it just a pay a fine and done thing?

btw...i got some Sour Diesel from Royal Queen thats in the 2nd week of flowering (what a bounce back) Also two bag seeds that are in flowering also...both female  I also have some Afghan Kush growing...planted one seed got two seedlings! I have a thread for them as well...Afghans are about 6-9" tall

A possession charge is light if anything it should be a fine or community service. Now a cultivating charge or manufacturing then that's different.

so your saying i shouldn't get a lawyer? I'm going for a bank job after this is over and i don't want it to show up...

A possession charge is a misd. At best you get a a.c.d or even thrown out. If your charge was possesion and you wasn't arrested but given a ticket I wouldn't think you need a lawyer. I would Google the exact charge they are charging you with to see exactly what's up tho

well wyteberry, i m not as hopeful. sounds like the gov has his veto pen all ready to go. crazy we have a liberal prez and gov and we re the only state in the ne where mj is still not legal. and the prez wont call off the feds/dea etc in legal states. makes one think of a few consp theories. oh well. grandma i got 2 gnomos flowering, a big band auto in veg, and some photo clones that i m gonna need a tent to finish off. btw i m an upstater and we have a couple grow shops in town that r pretty decent. thanks 4 link ptr420.

I'm feeling good with this one especially with the support and proposal. It might be a hard vote but I'm quite sure we will get mm here on this bill.

Not worried either way I'll continue to grow.
Just purchased 2 tents, one XL one and one XXXXL one (10x10x10ft)

I plan on turning my entire spare room into a grow room for next year near summer. Just wanted a tent to contain everything better.

If it turns legal I hope not for at least another year, I know it sounds bad but the value will go down crazy once it turns legal. I can sell a Oz of Premium home grown stuff for $500 where I'm at and that includes auto grows. So the profit is high for me.

EDIT: I do hope they officially decriminalize it though. I have had cops say it is already and they let me smoke my joint with friends as long as I'm not causing trouble. I've had others snatch it out my mouth and stomp on it and give me a ticket and summons to court.

well if our gov drags his feet or vetoes, there s a decent chance the new nyc mayor may decriminalize, or something like that. liddle, i went w a mix of short and long season autos for outdoors. dont have to fight the mold as much. earlier harvests too. clones seem to work well for an earlier finish also

liddle, i go all in the ground. but if ur gonna grow in ur backyard, or somethin like that, 5 gal buckets would not stunt most of the short season ones like kannabia s gnomo, dinafems fruit or critical +. for the longer duration or super auto s i d put them in the ground-as big a hole as time and $(for good dirt) would allow. i had some nice yields from power skunk, but it had a caramel flavor, prob from using too much nutes and sweetener. there s a ton of choices out there and many of more seasoned growers seem to have favorites diff from mine
