The thought of cuomo running for president makes me detest this democratic system we use, electoral college. I don't want to vote for people who will vote for laws. I want to be the one to vote myself for laws. His 5 year trial run won't bring the mmj business here. Why move out to ny for something that might not be around in 5 years?

I'm from the finger lakes and hate cuomo also. He destroyed an allready strict mmj bill just because nobody thought his old excutive plan would work. He treats us like kids, giving just enough to hopefully shut us up. If you look at some of his past deals this month you see the one he made for a pharm company to start doing thc bases test here. That is what he really is up to, tacking mmj from the people and putting it in the pharm companies hands. If he runs for Pressident this will be 1 of his platforms funded by the millions from the pharm companies. I hope I'm wrong but I see the pharm companies coming after the mmj industry and doing it by trying to force fda regulations.

It's always about the money and, to me, it's sad. I'll just keep doing what I do. Isn't New York one of the premier states and yet it's always lagging behind.

Hey everyone

Yeah Cuomo destroyed the CC act as it was. It seemed public support is here for public polling, there isn't much knowledge or support for the proper systems though. If we want to make this medical, it has to be better suited for the people. Regulations will put prices high and keep quality mediocre, or at very least keep mass progress behind due to patents and protecting them. That is, for those who are lucky enough to be granted treatment from a systematic doctor.

Pretty big swing and a miss, but then again, I don't know if NY ever had a legitimate chance at a socially driven movement, it's being driven politically here now in the NE.

If they want to mess around with horrible regulation and tax, one can always help patients without "they".

From someone born and raised on a dairy farm upstate, this isn't looking great.

Big picture here.

A small piece of what matters was done right for all of the wrong reasons.

But again, it was to be expected out of the state.

there is nothing 'new' about the NY process, been this way a long time
NY is one of the states that has few ways for voter initiated legislation to appear on the ballot
and that's the way the NY legislature likes it, why shouldn't they?
keeps the power where they want it
the amazing thing is the other states have the voter propositions at all
this just isn't about MMJ in NY, the NY legislative process is something of a throwback

It's official as of yesterday as cuomo signed the bill for medicinal marijuana. The 23rd state. No smoking it though, lol. It's for oils and vaporizers. Good luck out there

it has been chill today, been a good summer though
my outside grows have been tiny experimental
this year pretty much the same, but that can work out sometimes
especially when a weed copter started doing sweeps not 50 feet from my tiny plant
and i was glad it was a tiny plant
have been some fields taken down recently in nearby areas, call it emerald triangle NY
so be safe out there
