Chesus..

When it is the same for everybody how is that voter suppression?
Former Florida GOP leaders say voter suppression was reason they pushed new election law
Former GOP chair, governor - both on outs with party - say voter fraud wasn’t a concern, but reducing Democratic votes was.

On Monday, Ohio election board Republican Doug Preisse admitted that the goal of voter ID laws are to stop African Americans from voting.
Preisse told the Columbus Dispatch in an email: “I guess I really actually feel we shouldn’t contort the voting process to accommodate the urban — read African-American — voter-turnout machine.” He also called, "Claims of unfairness by Ohio Democratic Chairman Chris Redfern and others 'Bullshit.' Quote me!,” according to the Ohio Dispatch report.

I am all for ID for voting. Not sure I agree with some of the "hoops" but ID for voting isn't asking very much at all.
It always makes me wonder why anyone would be against voter ID.
Not everyone can easily go to the DMV.
Think Nursing homes.

If they are in a NH they have ID unless they are paying cash for their stay. If they can afford to pay cash to stay in a NH then they can afford to get an ID if they wanted to. Most NH drive their residents to the DMV.

Not saying requiring ID isn't a hindrance. I had to go online to have a copy of my birth certificate mailed to me within 30 days of getting my temp ID. It was easily worth it to me so I could vote though. I'm OK with it not being easy peazy, I just think the burden of the cost of the first required ID should be on the state. It cost me more than a lot of people have to spend.

When it places obstacles on those who would be inconvenienced and outpriced on getting said ID

Are birth certificates free?
State IDs? Drivers licenses?
What about transportation to said facilities?
What if you were born out of state?

Are you intentionally stupid or accidently?

How easy will it be for someone in a nursing home to replace the drivers license that expired 20 years ago?

Why should voting be easy? Look at the morons we get in office by making voting easy.

Im from wisco, I fail to see how having to identify while voting is any harder than registering to vote. Both are hinderences but if you want to vote you will be sure to do both. I can tell you the people that actually care about voting will take the proper measures to make sure their voice is heard because at this point if you are a citizen of wisconsin and are not outraged you aren't paying attention... voting shouldnt be as easy ordering at chipotle (comparative line time)

Dont need a state ID to get a job either

you mean like a Ron Paul Poll?
Exactly, like a Ron Paul poll.

Let Mexican citizens, frustrated by US immigration laws vote to fix those laws. The US treasury is so full, why shouldn't poor people everywhere get a chance to vote themselves a cut?

Birth certificates and transportation as well?
let's cut to the chase here.

What we really need is to just let the DNC cast the votes of the poor for them. It will be so much more convenient for the poor; they won't have to pay for any transportation costs, or government documents, and they won't have to bother figuring out those byzantine voting machines with hanging chad. They can just sleep in, like every other day.

Whatever dude obviously nothing short of someone else voting for then would make yiu happy, is my grandma allowed to send me to the voting booth with a note In her place if she is bed ridden? No, that is why you can mail your vote in now and also part of the reason you must show id now, its not just on voting day.
