However because winter is coming I will be moving everything into a tent for a little while. Just purchased a 3'x3'x6' tent and a new scrubber along with finally went with the ph up and ph down as I usually use lemon juice. ill throw some pics on of what will be here from what they say is mid week.

As one of the girls is a fem reg I will be cloning her and flowering the autos. After the autos have finished Ill be throwing clones in there place.

thats the plan anyways?

Question for anyone who knows or has grown hempy buckets.

What PH do you usually use. I use 6.0 to 6.3 as recommended anyone else have any success with other ranges?

Here are some more pics. Little bit of burn on the leaves. But its a no nute burn. Started nutes late. After the PH fix within 24hrs they grew more then they have in the past week. All new growth shows green and lookin good. Just gotta "0" everything in. New setup temps have been up and down.

The tall really stretched one in the back im not sure what I am gonna do with her. She had a bad case of spider mites. Which I fixed. Havn't found any more and also the lady bugs have been doin there work for me as well. Personally I do not know why this plant stretched the way it did. It was started outside in full sun from AM to PM but she has a long stem on her. Gotta give her a trim that is for sure. Not sure if I will keep her or not new growth but a nasty lookin plant. Dont even know what strain she is.

Also for the clear containers. I will be covering them here pretty soon as they dont need that light getting to them roots.

Whats everyone think?

Everything should be good here soon. More pics to come.

EDIT: I think I may take that long slanky looking one and find the best branches and click some clones from her and then ditch the rest. Give her a start over and see what she can grow. As the plant itsself doesn't look so good.
What do you think?

Liitle update. The little girls are now about twice as big as they were in the previous pics. I will have to grab some photos for you guys.

I did switch over to vertical and the plants are now arranged a little differently. Temps have dropped from 85is to around 75-80ish since the conversion from horizontal to vertical.

PH was fixed now im zoning in on the nutes for emm.

Switched to lucas formula as well. Not using any grow of the 3 part only the micro and the bloom. Plants been to like it better and also the ph seems to be easier to control as well.

I will grab some pics and upload them here in a little while if not later on tonight.

I thought i would come check out your grow. I laughed at your pic above, that is quite an assortment of growing containers you have there. lol. I also do hempy in 3.5 gallon buckets. I use AN 3part ph perfect. I dont monitor my ph, and i feed the exact same thing (tsp/gallon of all 3 parts) every other watering seed to harvest. Used to use maxibloom dry, but switched for more nitrogen in veg. I run vert so i want em tall lol.

Looks good for a first run. Help you get the rest of what you need and dial that room in.

Yeah well ideas have changed alot since the beginning. I use to grow in a homemade box that was I believe 6' x 4' x 7' give or take. That was back when I first started and had no clue what I was doing. had 8 4' lights alternating in color temps. Grew my first original lowryders in that box. Had a smaller sterlite box before and had to move out of it because of the light showing threw all sides. lol

May be the strin I am using this time. But the 3 part it doesn't seem to like all that much. Switched to bloom and micro with the 8ml / gal and 16ml /g and no worries so far. I add the grow and hey want to burn even at the recommend strength. I do think part of that was the PH though. I have been using tap water though and its hard water. Sulfur. I try to let it sit out a day or 2 before I use it but I still end up with a TDS of 175-225 depending. Some days less some day more. Not sure what other minerals in the water here either. Could be part of my problem. I should be bringing in gallons of water. I think even spring water would be better. Ill lay some more and see how it goes. As of now I have to adjust the PH everyother day as it seems to climb within 2 days. which I guess is expected.

Yeah I couldn't find all of the same containers. So I used what I had. Shortly after using them though I found 2.5 gallon waste baskets at the local dollar store for $1 each. Ill have to use them on the next run. But we will see how there guys turn out in what they are in. The way I look at it. If people can grown in 20oz bottles. I can grow in the same size if not a little bigger. See what they like the best I guess.

ill get everything on track and set to where i need it.

Will keep posting so everyone knows and see what is going on. More pics will be here tomorrow morning. As I wasn't able to get them tonight. People here that do not need to know what I have, lol

Got my cam charging at the moment. But Will be adding them pics here in a few.

But wanted to let everyone know. I will be throwing 2 more seedlings in the mix here.

Friend game me over 400 seeds and I wanna pop 2 of emm.

Need to start some mothers. I am not sure what the strain is but He popped a few and I know the smoke was good. So. Was gonna start them in with the others until the others need there room.

Gives me all autos but 3. Ill use them for my mothers.

What I will prolly end up doing is growing autos with the non autos.

As in run a batch of autos while vegging the non autos. Alternate. To speed up harvests a little. Still needs work on the idea. But Figured what the hell. veg regs while growing the autos.

Also ordered another 400 watt HPS today. Either use when the plants getting bigger or use for another location. Not sure yet. Ordered a few spare bulbs as well.

The Northern Lights Autos don't seem to be doing as good as the KC45s or the NL x Skunk. But the new growth looks good.

The weird looking leaves where some of the leaves that were effected by the PH issue I was having. Since it has been fixed all new growth seems to be going good. I plan on buying some water instead of using what I have been. Thinking may be easier as I have hard water and also sulfur. The sulfur alone will increase my PH as it ages so. Get rid of the sulfur and I would guess the PH would be more stable.

Think I am finally starting to get it tuned in.

Oh and I forgot to mention. The 2 new plants will be grown in organic soil. Not hempy.

What everyones thoughts?

I love the idea of growing in some organic soil!!!!

You look to be having the same issues I had when I gave water growing a try. I could not get PH and nutes right for the life of me. It was way too much work for me. Since I have gone organic and re-use my soil, every grow gets better and better. I keep toying with the idea of a hempy bucket then stop and figure I better not LOL!!

Just had to get everything dialed in. Think I got it down now. They are growing good now. When I first started growing I started in soil. I started 1 DWC system and the plant way out grew the soil of course. I Havnt looked back. But I plan on doing both at the same time. I love hydro as you can correct problem easily. I can tend very day but every once and a while it's every other day. So grumpy is I believe where it is at. Easy and can address problem quickly.

Here are some pics from tonight along with how I germ. And some more random pics.

Let me know what Ya think.

Looks good! I sure don't miss those days! LOL!!! I still have a PH meter but hardly use it. I love the use of the coffee cans, I use reusable cloth shopping bags.

How many days old are they??

Yeah had to make use of what I had. Should have used all blue buckets or the alike but these will do for now.

These girls are exactly month old today. They have had some slow growth but they are autos and every auto I have ever grown has always started out slow as hell. I have noticed a huge increase in growth rates over the past few days. Even the stalk has thickened. However I do a a Nitrogen Def which I fixed today. Atleast I hope so. All the lower leaves turned Yellow as I was unable to check them yesterday and see the issue. Seem slight yellow tips before and left it alone till I could pin point what it was. Once I seen the yellow lowers I knew what it was and increased the nutes today.

Also, started the others out as well. plants in MG Organic Soil and plants in Epsoma Organic potting soil. Little bit of a mix. With the hempy and kinds of soils. Experimenting a little to find out what I want to use. I know autos tend to do better in soil but I like soil less.

Also received my back-up 400W HPS today. Now I dont have to worry about my other bulb going out on me.

Ill get some pics here so you all can compare from the last set I have thrown up.

Still trying to dial in. Thought I had it but guess I didn't. PH has settled and stays close to where I put it so that is a great turn out. Have to see how it changes with the increased nutes.

To many plants for this tent but the are small and will move as they grow.

Oh yeah. After switching to bare bulb vert. My temps have dropped and stayed in the upper 70s perfect for me. Fan speed is at 50 percent aswell on the 4 inch 190cfm
So that is where we are at as of now.

Been a bit since last update. Plants are doing good. All are between 1.5 and 2 feet tall. 3 are already starting to flower. Starting to have to water daily now as they are slurping up whatever I can give them.

I will get some pics up either tonight or in the morning. Lower extremities are still yellow and I have trimmed all the dead leaves that were caused by the Dec. But all new growth shows no hooking or signs of nitrogen Dec.

Pics to come.

Everything is going well now. Had a few issues with the PH and nutes. Everything is straight now. There are 2 that are still looking shabby but the others are doing very well. Nice and green 3 are flowering already and growing like weeds. lol

I had to figure out the issues with the water we have here its sulfur water and have been playing with the water and nutes to figure out where I need the nutes and PH to be.

First grow with new set up so this is sorta a test run to get everything set. Ill get bud just not sure how much
