this link has all my picsWell some pictures would be nice...
CFL's hmm, my advise, 150w per plant using many 23w bulbs kept within 2" and spread out all around the plant. For best results... I used a mix of Soft White and Daylight bulbs at about 3-1 ratio for flowering.
yeah I'm just trying to give a full pic of my grow, future pics will be on this page3 clicks to get a picture, goodluck
I had no hope for those clones at first but now maybe. With 12 bulbs going It got up over 100 degrees, 24 bulbs might burn the house down.Ahh I didn't notice the links before..
Well, a scrog is ideal for CFL's. I think you need more bulbs though. I counted 10, so what' s that 230w? for a 2'x4' area.. I would double the amount or not plan on filling the whole screen.
Your poor clones lol... That's all I'm saying.
agreed, however SEEmorebuds book on cfl says u nrrd as few as 6 cfls and from what I can see he uses 8 only adding bulbs when temp fell.Well you need some ventilation man.
not trying anyone wrong I'm trying to learn cause I know I don't know shit about this but to quote Seemore " The larger pot on the left (1) is the Mango seedling. The two plants to the right of the8 bulbs would be fine for 1 plant, but not a 2'x4' screen full... Not if you want fat, hard, crystally buds....
But more power to you to prove me wrong!! I've been wrong many times.
Loved your cfl grow had to go out and get me a blunt.....hiiiiiiiiiiiighI have no idea who seemore is dude. You can grow a marijuana plant with one CFL.. but it's all about the end result..
Again, I would recommend you to use 150w per plant for best results. You can scrape by with 100w though and still do good.
The difference in the amount of lights you use will be the difference between the HID guys saying, yep "CFL's suck balls", or saying "Damn nice grow"
Check out the CFL grow in my sig...
nice......I already have 2 fans inside so gonna use 2 pc fan to suck heat out the top and 1 to bring air inTomorrow I'll be two weeks into a cfl grow from seed. Here's some picks of my box. Light height is adjustible based on how tall the plants are. I plan on scrogging two plants in here. The small fan in the side is an intake, the other is just to move air away from the lights and general circulation.

It's about 2.63 square feet, and 10 cubic feet. I have a 400cfm Active Air inline fan in the top sucking out the hot air from 12-26w 6500k cfl's (7300 lumens per square foot). It still gets quite hot in there near the top of the plants, and my intake is blowing in cool air from a shaded area outside. The fan is so powerful I had to brace the sides of the box, and the door with wood because the fan was making the box implode. I think you may need more than a couple PC fans.
What I did is use three power strips that have 7 outlets each. Buy 12 outlet to socket adapters and put one in every other outlet on the power strips. I put those plastic safety plugs to keep babies from getting shocked in the outlets which are empty to keep debree from getting in there and starting a fire. Then just hang them over a thin strip of wood. I used a squarish shaped strip of moulding and just run it between the bulbs so that the power strip sits level across it.

What size PC fans are you using? I had a couple on my old gaming pc, I think they were 4" and them suckers really moved some air when the temp got hot and the rpm's maxed out.nice......I already have 2 fans inside so gonna use 2 pc fan to suck heat out the top and 1 to bring air in
I love seeing these cabinet grows (no offense) I mean I have a lot of space, but its cool to see the ingenuity of these guys to grow some herb. I don't think anything else would drive someone to actually thinking, designing and figuring shit out like that to make the best of what you got.
Bravo.
