I was going to update but you all dont seem to inerested
I would make u a journal bro ... They look good though what strain are u growing ??? That sure is a nice stock your lady has hopefully her roots are in the same shape as the stem ....And as far size of plant that all depends on your height of tent... But me personally I would top 2-3 times tie her down and let her do her thing.....

It can also be hard to say what's the ideal size to flip them for your space if you don't know exactly what to expect in the stretch.

Admittedly I haven't kept up with this thread. A couple of observations:
1) Your brix is low. Leaf color could be better with more definition. Surface is dull, not shiny.
2) You definitely have some insect activity -- probably spider mites. Fix that shit BEFORE you flower or it will plague you 'til the bitter end.

Thanks for all the input.. I have lots of space left in the tent.. I was going to flip the lights to 12 /12 but I'd like the clone to get a little bigger 1st since I don't have a separate area to veg it out on its own.. Unknown strain. Just some bag seed.. Anyway I transplanted again. Also transplanted the clone. Really hoping it's a female.. I put alot of time into this grow. Hopefully my efforts will be rewarded. Anyway here's a few pics from today

Yeah it does suck when u end up with a male ... everything looks good are u limited on the height?? Me personally I wait till there half the height of my grow space ....

I flipped the switch 2 days ago.. Not too late to go back but I do have atleast 8 to 12 inches before hitting half the grow space. But I'm not sure what to expect when the stretching starts so I may just see what happens. Also the clone has about 4 internodes so I'm interested in seeing how the clone will turn out at 12 12 from such a small plant with no topping or stress training Vs a more mature plant with multiple tops and consistent stress training.. Obviously yields will differ tremendously but I'm more inrested in the quality of the bud.. I wonder if a plant left to grow on its own will produce a higher potency than one under stress.. The only thing I would change if o could is the size difference in the plants.. But I suspect it won't effect the potency , just the yeild

I would have to agree the potency is gonna be there as long as she ain’t to stressed out and u chop at the right time... Well if it stretches three times from where she is now u should be right on point than ... Not all strains double some triple in size when u flip so u did good especially if u have never grown the strain and don’t know what to expect from the switch.....I am like u I like to experiment with them the first time I grow out a strain so I can know the boundaries u know what I mean....I always grow from seed so I can’t tell u about that cutting u have only time will tell

What dont stop
I've had old posts that I put up asking questions that didn't get any attention and then later on down the road someone comments on it and next thing you know there's a lively conversation.

Keep updating, keep learning, keep asking questions. You never know when but somewhere along the line your work will start getting people's interest.

It will be good practice having different size plants.
The frequency of watering may be less for the smaller plant as it will likely use less water per day than the big plant.
Quality of a smaller plant can be just as good as a bigger plant, in fact if you are new to this you may benefit from the smaller plant having less demands.
I ran into a calcium problem with a few plants this grow, they were different sizes. The smaller ones fared better than the big ones because they needed less calcium than the big ones did IMO.
Keep us updated.

My update is pretty sad. It's a male.. Obviously the clone is a male 2. I plan on chopping and I know I can make cannabutter from male plants but not sure I have enough material since the thc percent would be very low. I guess I'm going to start over and start a grow journal . The experience was great. Any thoughts on chopping for cannabutter?

Making butter really only works with material with resin on it. You can decarb the dried leaf in a dry frying pan chopping it up with a spatula as you go and using a siv, if I'm spelling that right, to screen out the stems. Start at a low temp and aim to work up to your target temp in about three minutes. By the time you're done what you have left should look like green flour. You can use it in just about anything that calls for flour but you'll have to use a little less flour to compensate.
