New Mars Hydro TSL2000 run

Hey guys, I picked up these 2 Mars Hydro TSL2000 fixtures and wanted to document the progress from freshly rooted clones to harvest.

These will veg for probably a month and then will be flipped. I expect good things as they're dimmed to 50% already and are still far too bright. Luckily I have the head room to raise em up.

Will keep this journal going and you can expect frequent updates.

Lol yes, i did get free lights but not from Marshydro.
I got my genuine free lights from a trusted RIU vendor https://diyleduk.com ;)
Marshydro did ask me but they wanted it shown on all media, Twitter, Facebook, Watsapp, Snapchat and YouTube. Ballicks to all that. So I Never replied back.
I shoulda got Mars to try my lights!
all we need is Mars in here taking the piss outta his lights and they'd be even. classy

"Twitter, Facebook, Watsapp, Snapchat and YouTube" loooooooool!

are Mars a paid advertiser here?

We have an agreement, exclusive to here on RIU. These lights are incredibly bright I can't lie. It's kind of surprising. They're doing a good thing by offering fixtures for such a reasonable price point. The diodes may not be top tier Samsung's, but using Surface Mount Epis allows then to do that. I have no doubt these will produce a very great result and I'm extremely glad I picked a model with drivers that are dimmable via the internal pot on THE TOP of the driver.
That's the only thing I can say needs improvement. There other models use meanwell ELG drivers where the pot is located on the UNDERSIDE of the driver(s) and I can't imagine the annoyance of having to un mount and remove drivers every time just to dim.
The little screw you turn is already so off center and impossible to see/find without shining a light directly down inside the hole once the rubber plug is removed.

Ya this, they asked me to run these lights too, but i had no interest in 27 social media platforms lol...fk all that noise

Im glad to see some guys took them up on the offer tho, get to see in documented grows just how they do.

Best of luck Air.

Writes this earlier in the week about another shitty LED company...

Then starts this thread about a free light from the worst company in the industry.

Wow this is the most hypocritical and shameful thread I have seen in a long time.
Comparing a LUSH dominater that costs $1,100 to this light at $250 for the same footprint isn't hypocritical...at all. Sorry I didn't spend cash on your PhotoBoosts. Glad you still LURK the forums so you can throw shade any chance you get. I've never tried to bring you down or talk badly of you before. In fact, I've reccomended your strips to plenty of people. Many times actually.

+1 for more diaries and transparency.
Thanks man. We haven't seen really anything at all on these newer Mars fixtures. So let's see what they can do. These aren't $800 lights, claiming 2000watts, for double chip slug diodes with "full spectrum".
To me, Mars has listened to the backlash and aren't being shady anymore. They clearly state everything on their fixtures.

Why you trying to move the topic for what reason...no on brought it up but you dude. This is all about those shitty mars lights you got cause they went around to everyone and their brother to give a free light to talk positive about their lights. I have all the emails too dude.

This is nothing but a free light so you can talk good about it in public.

When did samsung become an led model...? 301b, 301z, 301d, 281b, 281b+, 281b+ SG, 561c, 561b+.... what is a samsung led? Cause they are cheap ass 2835's, not a horticulture or high performance led. You have no idea and think that using a buzz work like samsung makes things all better?? Jesus dude this is pathetic.

Show the sphere reports if they are so good...

Don't try to flip you attempt to do a journal about a free light as if you paid for it and then try to BS about what it is using...you have no idea. Just a shill.

Alright Gene. You know a lot more than I do. I don't know the first place to access an actual sphere. Don't care really to buy an Apogee or any PAR meter for that matter.
I'm just going to see how it plays out.
You Jump to conclusions awful quick though. Thinking I hold Samsung to the level of god tier. I know there's plenty of competitors out there
The reason I even mentioned them, is because basically in the entire"Chinese Quantum Board Builds" thread, Samsung's are the diode being lied about when people are ordering "Quantum Boards". I just explained that they're not saying something is when it's not.

I'll post some up once I complete a run as I bought some of the sp150 and 250s and some spider farmers for the summer. Love me some HPS but I think I can offset the electrical and ac savings with LEDs.
