Maybe that last question could be answered if I did some surfing of the site but I'm trying to finish up an order and they look kind of cool.

from what i've heard about them they are really thick and work well indoors.
outdoors though, i have heard that they disintegrate disappointingly fast. my
buddy said they didn't even last as long as the smart pots, which were not
as thick. he said they just fell apart when he tried to clean up the grow at the
end of the season.

I ended up going with standard 3 gallon pots. I also ordered some FFOF and some Happy Frog (going to mix them 1:1), some Botanicare cal-mag Plus, an Active Air thermometer/hygrometer and my buddy that sold me the solar storm dropped off some Floralicious Bloom 1-1-1 for free. Anything else I'm forgetting?

Thanks! Ended up going with plastic. So is the FFOF and Frog going to get me through veg or am I going to need some veg nutes? I know autos are really sensitive to over feeding.

Not sure w/auto's. Never touched em, but I was OK 3 week veg and a shot of N at week 4 just to keep the gas pedal down.

If that mix got photos through almost a month I think it'll be enough for pretty much the whole veg cycle with autos. Maybe I'll ask around in the auto forum. Thanks again!
