New leaves are curving (some first grow advice needed)

The new leaves on this plant are curved (I don't think they are curling the leaves look soft and supple) and not straight. Is this to do with the lighting? The colour of the leaves looks good and it's growing fine otherwise. The plant is a little under a month old (it came from bagseed so I am unsure as to what it is any id on what strain it is would be good)

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but this is my first grow and am unsure so I thought I would ask. This plant is currently under 2*25 watt 6500 bulbs I'll add more as the plant grows but it has plenty of light at the moment or do total watts at this early stage matter?

Anyway here is some pics and you can see the curve I am talking about on the side leaves of the fan on the left and right at the top of the plant

I was figuring to let it veg until it hits 1 foot or mid december whichever comes first.

nice pictues man, it looks like its doing good, im new to growing myself but have been on rollitup for a while now and people use 5 times the light your using right now on plants. 2 seem to be doing ok for you right now but if you can fit in more light i would right away, the more light the better in my eyes, as long as you can keep the temp down.

....I'd say too much water....u also need a much bigger pot....and u said ur gonna add more light n that's cool but add some now cause yes it does matter.....u need at least 100 actual cfl Watts per plant for it to do well....more in flowering

Cheers for the words. Have upped the pot size today. I read about PH and perhaps too many nutes also causing the leaf problems.

anyway, I've changed the pot and will wait until it is light to lift until I water it again.

yes an indica. lead me to reading about the 3 main types. I'm definately buying some seed next time. This bagseed was an expriement and I'm just hoping it's female

I've also got a 4 lights on it now each 25 wats with 6500k light spectrum. I'll post a pic or 2 in a few days.

....i gaurantee she'll look much happier in the bigger pot...it took me a minute to get the feeding n watering down and also to learn what they need as far as pot size....anything less than 3gallons has equaled trouble for me....there's more going on under the dirt than what u realize...these plants have some SERIOUS roots

SInce the pics above I have trimmed it and last week I topped it. I think it's coming along great.

Ouch,then I need some more light in my flower box,hmm lets see 40 plants times 100 watts cfl per plant hmm........ I dunno if I can get 4000 watts cfl in my box without the plants....

Your attempting to grow 40 plants with cfls? Now I have got to see this. Even with the 65 watt bulbs, which you start losing lumens and just any good use out of the cfl used for growing and you would need ~65 bulbs just even to be at 100 watts per plant in veg. Now remember that's for veg. In flower you want almost 3 times that. So that would put you at 12000 watts which is right around 195 bulbs.

Do yourself a favor and get a hps. You will be glad you did :)

Oh and by in no means am I bad mouthing you or saying it's not possible but once I went to hps I will never go back. It's night and day difference and at some point having so many cfls just seems ridiculous and you are spending as much to run them as an hps setup.

....40 plants in a "box" u say...that's gotta be some serious box Bro...ha...ur gonna need a lot of xtention cords...I've got 650 actual clf Watts mixed spectrum flowerin 2...I really can't imagine working a cfl set up w 40 plants...can I see a pic of this "box"?

Lol I was thinking the same thing bro. Btw you have some nice looking plants thatboy. How is the purple deficient plant? lol.

But I would love to see this box to. I know he did say that he needed to up his lights but I bet his flower box isn't anywhere close to 4000watts already nor is his veg box thats why I have no idea why anyone would try to grow 40 plants with just cfls. lol.

But hey best of luck to ya buddy let me know how that 40 plant cfl grow turns out for ya. :D

ha...I think ppl just maybe get real smoked out n get these big ideas...I'm not saying a 40 plant cfl set up isn't possible...but I bet my best bud you'd b settin it up n hanging lights n get about 50 lights into it b like fuck this shit...theres alotta work n time involved in a successful cfl set up...u gotta constantly fuck w the lights keeping em all the right distance according to how the plants growing....positioning all of em just right so they're not touching each other not touching the plants not touching the walls...its a bitch sometimes...I mean it pays off don't get me wrong but for a 40 plant set up?...I wouldn't wanna have that responsibility...if u can afford that many cfls u can afford an hps set up....plants are doing awesome giggles...thanks for the compliment...they're bout 2 n a half weeks into flowering...the purple ones anyway...ha...I'll post some fresh pics in the morning when lights are on...

Checked it out...nice...I got a couple autos going...bubbleicious...ones like 20 days the other a week behind...The 20 dayer is just now showing preflowers...I say this cause I may shoot some ?s ur way as they grow...I fimmed the one that's just now showing n I'm sure it set her bk a week or so but I think its gonna pay off she's got like 8 tops now...if u go to the "newbie" section and find thread "first grow cfl here's the whole line up" u can check out what all I got goin...ur plant looks nice n I read the trichs n hairs were telling different things...the hairs look close what is it the trichs still clear?...oh n left arm sleeved...koi fish/water/leaves/ all one big scene covering bk of forearm and sides..kois kinda jumping outta water with Japanese maple leaves autumn colors blowing n flowing in the wind...they kinda look like weed leaves if uve ever seen a Japanese maple...ha....and some writing covering the inside of forearm...some fancy cursive script...it all flows together pretty nicely...

Sounds bad ass bro. I love getting inked. I wish I knew some more artists around my area as I'm wanting to get some new.

They trichs are showing me still quite a few clear and some cloudy/milky and like 1 or 2 ambers. It's a white strain So I'm just playing this girl by ear and going by when I think she feels ready. I tried a test bud about 4 days ago and it was dank so I"m going to let her to until the 1st I think.

Sounds like a good plan...I wouldn't rush it...I plan on mine going at least nine weeks...everything ive read bout og strains tell me 9...sometimes 10....bout getting tatted just check out artists on line round where u live...if not ur city the nearest one...that's how I found a good one...
