Well today was a trying day, there was some heavy rain in my area, which in turn cause 2 power outages in the are. So my light went off twice. Luckily we are early in the grow and much harm isn't done. This isn't something I need though. However was able to get some visuals Hope you enjoy..

and sorry its sideways (stupid iPhone 6)

Well update on the swarm from this morning...
I believed them to come from the coco mat I was using... it was from my previous grow that I had to stop the 1st week so it was garaged for a while and I figured it to be ok, WRONG
apparently something was dormant in it and temps must have been perfect for morphing in my room.. BOOM full explosion... Saw the remints of wings on the top of the mat I believed they were all drowned by the filling of the table and what survived was crawling on my floor. anywho me and the lady went got a new coco mat fumigated the room, then washed it all down top to bottom.... inlines pulling air out .. so now its all peachy clean they ladies were in my other grow room while all of this was going on in a 4x8 tent so they are perfectly fine. After the room dried and cleared we brought the ladies back and fed them seeing as though they missed it at 4:00pm.... welp heres some pictures from the day..

hope its smooth sailing from here been bumpy lol

id expect some serious height issues. I would drop dat table dough. even if not height issue, you got quite a bit of room your missing out on. best to do it without stressing n moving them later on. Just trying to help :D

You know this height thing has been a topic before the start of this grow... I thank you for your advice, it just helps me with making a final decision. We've been back and forth about lowering it but I don't know what to used to sit the table on that I trust with the weight when filled w/ water. (I know using my two hands to build something would solve that but eh not really trying too...

Also I was going to just net the them anyways with a trellis and that would/should be enough control on the height with some careful pruning and what not...

thanks again... come back later to see what I decide to do..... :)

Ok little update, everythings going as smooth as I remember my previous grows this way... the plants are really taking to the pargo. Most of the roots are growing straight down with the help of the cubes covers to keep that light out. However there were a few rambunctious root systems that I was able to catch in the act...

well check out the pics... More detailed updates to come ( not much going on yet)

ive seen people use the 2 foot cinder blocks, simple and cheap.I use those and let it rest on the ress too. fits fine for me.

mines 4x4 tho. how many gallons are the res. that would help with determining weight issues. Mine holds 40 no prblem at all.

I have a little bit more weight 200 liters, but most of the time its just around 50Gal I was thinking cinder blocks. ive seen pics of the table resting on the res but it looked so sketchy

Hey, Plants doing well really excelling. so finally got off my butt and got around to making the trellis out of PVC. just need to get actual netting tomorrow.
Also looked into DWC's cant make my mind up on how many I want to run .... thinking 4-8 but I only have a 400w left and im thinking the 4 would be best atleast to start off... anyways. We will see so stay tuned. Was also thinking of flipping the ladies this upcoming week but I would like to move the chernobyl's out before I do that because I really would just like to grow only one strain in the table at a time. I've done mutli's before but I has had better result with a even all one strain canopy. That's all for now enjoy the pics...

super dope coco mat. if your looking to flip in a week, now is time to consider topping or other height control methods. I find topping, lst, and super cropping to be best methods of managing height; in that order. scroging is great. :D just find larger cola sizes on more tops when topping. both together are great. those are a bit lanky. not ganna be to thick but id like to see that stretch. They will grow alot in the next week too. looks clean boss. I had to go to a house last week to help someone and it was so messy. I had to tell him to consider herbology as an indoor lab, not a garden.

Yes it is definitely a lab, always an experiment. Some hypothesis with some variables to throw you for a loop. Arent they lanky though!!! I was looking at that myself. I like to grow fat bushes so I do a lot of topping and pruning bending; I almost treat it like my bonsai... but with a little more control less art. I agree with your order of methods however me myself I usually top. But since I am really looking at some serious height loss I was implementing the scrog to help with control because they are so lanky and I want to let them veg at least another week. I love COCO mats used my 1st and never looked back, actually just turned the hydro salesmen onto it today at the store....

updates later check back in tell me what ya think

Ok so No Go on the DWC for no particular reason other than every store would have had to order it for a more expensive price than what I could have order for myself from say Ebay or Amazon. However I just stuck with what I knew and went with another FLOOD and Drain setup but this time a 4x4 with a 25gal (100L) reservoir. Which might I add I am pretty excited about... only real bummer is that I will have to run my Ol' 400w hood but hey just for one harvest. So I figure ill run 9 on this table, keep the 10th Chernobyl for a mom. I was going to clone a Barry White but im honestly not to astatic about the strain.

Well here are some updates so far on progress I might leave for Home Depot to finish the job and transfer the ladies tonight that would be awesome actually...

Note to self:
(let not be a lazy stoner tonight )

Thanks for tuning in, also I am going to be Topping a lot, I've already made the preparation preparing the scrog net. I had been decided to not drop the tables and just commit to stayin on top of the plants growth with constant pruning. ( im use to it I, I grow bonsai also) plus marijuana when young, is so flexible ima have it weaving all through that net. I really appreciate the compliment on the room. I really put a lot into it that isn't seen. Plus no one really get to see ot another reason I like using RIU to connect with other growers...

oh and for future ref its SWOOZ lol
