Ya you lose a lot of cred abandoning a thread.. Whether the grow failed or not you should post what happend so it can help someone else.

If you're only posting to show off and boost your ego, make sure you know what you're doing first

What are you thoughts on nanolux ballasts?
I think they are damn good, and I have used atleast 3-4 other ballast companies.
for sure they have EVERY company ive seen beat in the weight department, So light!!!

The first grow on this thread I had only one, once I was in my own place I brought another and replaced my other heavy ballast.
They also have an intensity setting 50% 75%100% which actually doesn make a difference, especially with new bulbs..

(mind you) I have ran both their 600w and 1000w ballast... I would recommend them anytime especially if your looking for light weight oh and did I mention QUIET!

thanx @AlphaPhase

@sky rocket no I'm a vegging man even if I shouldn't I just like to because I feel it sets the plants up for a better overall growing process. I.e. root structure and node structure. I like to try to maximize as much as possible so ill be doing some topping and pruning. I'm considering a trellis to scrog them but I better hurry if I am they are starting to grow..

btw finally put the tent up in the second room.. that was a breeze of course .... (its a tent) so should be getting that all together for the chernobyls... I want to flower them all ( 10 of em) but at the same time im trying to pace myself and not get overwhelmed with strains ive done that before, don't wanna do that. so I might just mom one out and get ready for the next run in the table...

which I would like to do because the last run of Chernobyl stalled out due to light issues at about week 5, smh they were so nice too...

Looking good man! How much do those rock wool slabs cost? I used to hate using rockwool but it looks like the cubes have come along way since the last time I used them. Seems like I could fit a few extra plants in a table if I used them. How's the coco mat? I've never used those but recently have seen more and more people using them so I figure they must be good.

Yea as far as using it all the way through a grow it has come along way. but I cant remember the price off top but for 24 about 40- no more than 60 dollars. and I believe they sell them in a few different sizes.

COCO mat, Best thing in the world for exposed roots.. I grew in tables w/o and the roots would mass like such picture I uploaded but then the intense light throughout the grow would stop them from continuing growth. The coco mat allows for somewhere the roots can hide out in the darkness and flourish, it also retains a bit of nutrients so they have some feed in between... I love em.

you can see the diff in the pics

Well today is Friday so that means water change. This marks the second week of the veg. So in week 2 im looking to see some massive root increase and node structure.. I also started to soak the last of the pargo for the Chernobyl 2.0 and transplanted those tonight as well. Ill leave them in the table with the Barry white while they continue to veg. until I get the tent together OR... im thinking of just growing them around the table in some DWC buckets...?!! what do you guys think? there is space to add another light but maybe that's pushing it in the space.... anyways here are some pics I snapped while down there working...

P.S. The sour cookies are the seeds and they are coming along well hoping for a female...

Picture order:Chernobyl 2.0, Table Perspective, Barry White, Reservoir, Sour Cookies, Nutrient Chart

Hey Man, would you need another light to add the dwc plants or is there enough light coverage to add some around the perimeter? Either way, I like to use the space to the fullest potential, so I would go for it. 8-)

Very nice. Very clean room and those roots are thick! I've never seen this type of grow before. Let me just make sure I understand what's going on...so you started the plants in those rockwool cubes, set them on top of a coco mat, which I'm assuming is being constantly soaked from the res under the table, and then the roots grow freely into that coco mat?

Slightly correct.. the clones are started in normal small cubes and then when its time for the table they are transferred to the 6in Cubes. The coco mat is mainly just to hide the roots from light exposure, but it serves that double purpose of holding reserved nutes for the roots, that mat just allows for massives root growth.

Thanks for stopping by, drop in from time to time..

@AlphaPhase im think its sufficient enough light to add a few down there im going to look at some DWC setups. I just don't wanna over crowd the space..
