Where we go! First off, some pics of my last harvest. Please keep in mind that i had both of the cheap ballasts i had fry in the same week so i had virtually no light over them the first month of flower.

My new system is dwc crossed with nft I believe. There will be two of the row in the pics. The large hose is the drain and the 1/2" hose is the fill. The fill line will be T'd and split between both rows and connected again behind them to try and keep the fill levels even pushed by a pump. The drains will be completely separate all the way to the controller unit. The air pump is 110 liter per minute, and i will have a 4" micropore airstone in each bucket site and in the 55 gal drum res. The room will be 5.5'dx7.5'wx7'h with actual plant area being about 2.5'x6' long. There are 2 reflector/cooltube running 600 watt with a Lumatek ballast.

Strains: Heavy Duty Fruity, Reserva Privada Sour Kush A.K.A Headband, Chocolope, and Tangerine Dream.

I always aprecciate comments as well as criticism and give rep for any help or advice good or bad. Hopefully i will learn alot and maybe someone will learn a 'lil something from me too.

Sorry...couldnt put the pics in order

Almost complete. Ran the first test today and there was a couple leaks in the 1/2" drain fittings, the lights need to be straightened up a little and velcro added to the sides to hold them down. Also need to attach the exhaust tubing to the end of the far reflector. i haven't set up the 55 gallon res yet, I'm waiting for the control module and airstones to come in. What does everyone think?

Well, my design isnt going to work as i expected. It doesn't recirculate right. The closest bucket to the controller has constant recirculation while the back bucket is totally stagnant. anyone have any idea how to balance the water flow between all of the buckets? The plan now is to remove the outside drain lines, plug the drain fittings, and the buckets will be dwc recirculated from the controller and rez like ebb n flow.

I've decided to grow the Tangerine dream and Reserva Privada sour kush a.k.a. headband this time around. I germed last night at midnight and all five Sour Kush have cracked while none of the Tangerine Dream have yet. I will be putting the SK in grow plugs and into the nursery in the morning for sure and hopefully the TD as well. Ill post pics as soon as i have little sprouts to show.

Thanx dude....do you know anything about Tangerine dream? I'm looking for any experience yall have with growing or smoking.

I smoked some at the cannabis cup, best tasting strain ive ever had. The high was pleasant and euphoric, but not very trippy.

Sounds good to me Canibal. Do you think 25% thc 1.8% cbd holds any weight? Also, while the 6 Sour Kush and 5 Tangerine dream seeds were both germed at the same time, the
SK went into root plugs early this afternoon and are already starting to rise, while the TD is still in the paper towel with only half of the seeds cracked. I will have pics of em as soon as there are pics worth taking.

I remember reading somewhere that the actual THC content of Barneys farm LSD was 18%. Barneys claims it's 24%, so u can expect something like that. I don't remember getting very stoned from TD but CBD really depends on how late u harvest.

I cant wait to see that Tangerine Dream!
cool man. I'm going to be posting lot's of pics all the way through. They were a slow germ but took off, and half of em are even with the Sour Kush, and they went into the plugs hours after the SK did....I'll have baby pictures in a few days when they are all opened up and the cotyledons are showing.
i think I'm going to keep the light higher than normal to stretch em a little more at the start because their gonna be going into 6" netpots and I don't want to have to water them so I'll be putting the plugs in the bottom of the pots.

I changed my mind and I'm going to put them into 3" net pots so I can use my old stage two. That will let me get the roots as long as I need them to be to go into my main system with the 6" net pot lids. I'll just cut away the 3" net pots when I transplant.

18% is a very high THC content (same as White Rhino and Trainwreck) most seed banks embellish their THC content. 18% is about as good as it gets.

Got them into stage 2. I know the air is a little overkill but if i used my two smaller pumps there would have been 3 open air ports. I added a very small amount (few ml each) of my Botanicare grow, and Cal Mag plus. ph @ 5.8 ppm @ 115

The first leaves have started to grow and look healthy. I put a fan on em to harden em up a bit. When it's time I'm gong to use FIM technique to top. I've been using the flouros in my homemade reflector since it was built on my first grow so they're starting to get dim but I have two 400 watt MH bulbs on the way and I'll be moving my stage 2 into my grow room as soon as they get here. I forgot to mention the nutes that I'm using. I'm using the Botanicare cns17 3 part grow, bloom, and ripe as well as Botanicare Cal-mag plus 2-0-0 during veg, when i switch to 12/12 I will use the Botanicare bloom for the first two weeks and will switch from the cal-mag+ to Dyna-gro mag-pro 2-15-4 because it has the high phosphate and 1.5% sulfur. Sulfur is suppose to bring out aroma and color, and will use that till time to flush before harvest. Also when i switch to 12/12 I'm going to use Dutch masters reverse and saturator to insure none of the girls hermie. When the pistils start coming in good I will switch to the Botanicare Ripe and start adding Botanicare Sweet Berry, also for the sulfur, along with Floralicious plus for the humic acid and sea kelp, and I think this time around I'm going to experiment with black strap molasses...maybe.

oh yeah...thought i'd throw up the link to the last grow I put on here

Does anyone nute their seedlings? as far as age goes the first leaves are about the same size as the cotyledons, maybe a hair larger, and my biggest one looks a little yellow like its showing nitrogen deficiency. I put some nutes in the res, a few drops of grow and cal mag plus. ppm is at 120 and the base ppm of my water is 72. also there's a froth around the edge of the res. almost like milk froth from a cappuccino machine. never seen that before. any help is appreciated...now that i have the pic and can zoom I don't think it's as bad as I thought, but I'm gonna post anyways in case someone thinks differently.

Should have no problem getting a nice yeild with the set up you have, love all the strains you have the only one i have neer done is head band.If you don't pull a yeild of 4/6 ounce dry of each plant then something is wrong.

Thanks tyke...appreciate it. Do you mean 4 to 6 ounces or 4/6 of one ounce? I might be just a dreamer but I'm hoping FIM technique with 4 nodes will bring me between 1.5-2 oz per plant at least. I'm prolly gonna let em get 4 an a half to 5 ft tall. What do you think? did you see That I'm not doing chocolope or heavy duty fruity this time around? i want to change the title but I don't know how. You wouldnt happen to have pics of any of it would you?

Baby update. Please pay special attention to SK1. Its the one without a label in the second pic. I had to move it so the camera wouldn't focus on it. Is that a problem or normal growth? my res was at 66f for 24 hours so could it be temp lockout? or maybe some other deficiency?
