Have all my equipment now, finally. Will be starting this up in December. Thanks everyone for the input. Can't wait to get this all setup and going. Until than stay green riu......

Well might be starting a lil early. Pulled the trigger and Orderd a 3 pack of hso blue dream. 2 gdp's og kush and 2 phantom cookies. Hopefully I get a female out of them. If not gonna cross the males with the hso blue dream. Should be a nice mix.

Ok so in the process of moving to the new pad, and couldnt stand staring at the box any longer =-O so I set up the gorilla 5x5. Used the extension and it left like half an inch between tent and ceiling. You can def let the girls stretch out in this thing. Blows everything out of the water. Def worth the coin. So more to come. Still waiting on attitude for the genetics and its go time finally. So stay tuned and thanks for stopping by.

Hey RB,
That tent kicks ass!
I had a serious issue with the stretch my last grow.
Well, it could have gotten worse, but two plants needed
to have their tops popped over.
I do not think that my tent is designed to support an extension.
I will look for that feature when I consider future tents.

Thanks for stopping by, Yeah I also have had issues with stretch with past tent grows also, main reason why I got this tent. It's 8ft total right now and it I wanted you could make it 9 or even 10 ft. The tents are pretty pricey, but not having to really worry about height just simplifies things even more when growing with tents.

Was originally gonna run AN conni, but read a few forums they recommend the 3 part or sensi grow/bloom. So please feel free to throw any advice you have at me as i am very eager to learn new things.
Thinking maby i should start a new thread and ditch this one? or should i just roll through with this one?

Ok so hung the 8x24 phresh filter, a lot easier than hanging the can filters I've used in the past. The straps that came with the tent I used, but would recommend ratchet straps instead as the ones I used were a pain in the ass(ones that came with the tent).

3k on a 2000 watt grow is too much.. lol I bet a huge chunk of ur cash went twords the advanced nutes.... u got all that shit from the hydro shop huh? they rape u there... try ebay next time

Yeah went a little over board lol, I could have cut costs greatly, prob spent like 1500, but look at my equip list for this grow. Lol no the advanced nutrients were the cheapest. Purchased everything on eBay. Just bought name brand top dollar stuff. Wanted to go all out this time. Got tired of buying all my stuff on craigs, and dealing with someone else's problems. Wanted to run all brand new. I spent prob like 2600 for everything 3k was just a rounded up number.

Installed duct from filter to a 90 degree, and hung the raptor dual hood. Still need to duct the hood. So far so good.

hey i've never seen the raptors up close. It looks like the hinges are attached permanently by your pic. Is this true or can you remove the glass for cleaning?
just curious cuz on the xxxls it can be removed but they do leak alittle.

Yes the glass can be completely removed and the raptor has locking clips instead of the screw in like the mags. I've owned the mags before and I prefer the raptor imo. I'm trying to figure out if I installed the bulb right lol. It has these brackets that you can adjust based on light config. Is the bulb supposed to be directly in the middle of the hood? Or does it matter?
