Need nutrient change advice

This is my first time growing in soil. So I got neglectful and didn't get too much run off, nor did I check the ppms of the run off. I was also adding about 400 ppm of Floranova grow, calmag, seaweed, superthrive. I transplanted pre teens from coco so I figured theyd need some nutes for the existing roots. Im in fox farm ocean forest. I started the PH at 6 and have been moving it up .1 each feeding. I flushed at 6.3.

I noticed a nitrogen toxicity (the claw). Im about to flip them to bloom so I flushed them. The ppm was at 1500! Probably double what it was supposed to be for plants that old. So I flushed with 200 gallons of water and clearex, ppm is now at 800. I cant flush anymore cause I ran out of RO water, to get another 200-400 gallons is just too crazy.

My question is, where do I go from here? Once they dry out Id like to flip them in about a week. Should I continue to feed just RO water till the soil is leeched out more? Should I introduce my bloom nutes at half strength with RO water? RO water with just calmag?

Im going to water till I get about 20-30% run off from now on to keep running out the soil nutes. Im not sure what the best strategy would be, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Keep it simple. If you are in soil, there is no need to check ppm (know your water sure).

How often were you feeding them?

I had problems with Ocean Forest. Seemes like consistency is missing for what it's worth.

Do you have any pictures?

That's a bit much to feed every three days. I'd actually go with over feeding them. Looks like something is out of balance but I don't think you have nitrogen deficiency.

Perhaps with out the light on it would be a bit easier but I think with the nutrients in ocean forest and your feeding them so frequently, you've got an imbalance of sorts

With a nitrogen deficiency, you'd see fading to yellow, not what you have pictured here.

Its a toxicity, not a deficiency. They have the claw going on major. They were pre teens so they werent very small, I fed them when the soil dried out. I was feeling out the soil and let it go too long once (probably 4 days) where the plants got droopy from being too dry. So I dont think I fed them too much. They were getting too many nutrients. But now Im not sure if I should just keep doing RO water in bloom till the soil is leeched more.

Well if it's a toxicity, it is over feeding. That's the only way you can get toxicity by definition. But I see other signs, such as the odd vein thing going on there which suggests to it again being out of balance and too much to begin with.

I heard FF ocean forrest is low in calmag, I probably should have added some in my last flush. Maybe theres a calmag def. and a nitrogen toxicity.

I was thinking some other micro nutrient is out of whack, don't have my book on me right now and I don't have that trusty chart but I'm thinking it's a couple of issues. It's earlier so it shouldn't be hard to fix. I'll take a second look and let you know my thoughts. Again I'm sure you can correct this as you've caught it early :)

Eta: if you can, on the next go round try happy frog instead. I ran into issues with Ocean Forest myself, ranging from being extremely hot, to just being out inconsistent.

What nutes are you using again? I'll take a look at those too

I was going to cosider Happy Frog, I think next run Im going to sitch back to coco cause I can control everything. Its alot easier to flush too.

base nutes are flora nova grow so far

Never done coco, but you should never have to flush. Only if you fuck up feedings should flushing ever be implemented. I've had zero problems with Happy Frog. Always a consistent product.
