Yeah I saw the recent pics. So do you think I should wait and do a bit in flower then, or would you go whole hog, and start LST early in veg?

I think I was a little late, about a week, didnt know they were gonna stretch so much so yea I guess you know you are going to need the room. Whole Hog sounds good to me.

Hey people,
I have been trying to picture what this is going to look like towards harvest, Short plants in the front, tall in the back and still I think we got too many plants. When I started this I was going to go with six to be sure they had enough room. 4 sq foot for each plant.

Well, I went from 6 to 12 real quick. That is only 2 sq feet per plant. We are talking outdoors not indoor scrog. Thats too many, Check it out.

I am going to have to cut it back some. I really dont know how big these are going to get. My last PK grow I had moldy buds and I dont want that to happen. So to get the proper airflow Im cutting back to nine plants.

I talked to the distributor and she will have an Afghan White Widow for us next week but no purple erkle (sorry dense). Earl didnt sound to particular and the blueberry I got for indoor so gonna drop that. Superdknight will end up smoking it all with me so he really dont mind if I drop trainwreck. That puts it at nine. Thats do-able. The round one will be Does Blue dream in a movible regular pot. I hear it is tough to move smart pots without damaging the roots that are in the side of the bag.

So figure by 4/20 we will be in dirt. I'll veg them indoors for a week or so then harden them off around the first of May.

Starting lineup (revised)

Mazar Sharif
Santa Cruz OG Kush
Blue Cheese
Bubba Kush
Afghan White Widow
Casey Jones
Blue Dream
Blue Dream 2
God Bud

Well, thats the plan for now.

4/20... a great day to start off!
Yea, I thought so too. They will be rooted in one inch rockwool cubes and about 3 to 4 inches tall but thats the date they are going in soil.

Looks good, that's still quite the lineup!
Im excited, I still think I got to many but I figure if I can train them right we will be ok. As you know, shit happens durring a grow. I may loose one or two. Kinda like my cabinet grows, only big enough to walk under the screen. Hum, I like the sound of that.
It been raining on and off so I havent got much done the last couple days.
I took the door off the hinges today and put it in the garage so it wouldnt swell but I think Im a bit late. We'll see.

Sups!

Why not germ and root them in starter soil since they are gonna be planted in soil later, just asking? I've done both with no difs in results but when it's time to transplant into soil, the rockwool planted clones I had got chocked and it took bout 2 days for them to bounce back. Really wasn't a big deal but maybe some strains are more sensible to medium change?!

I plant my seeds in starter soil and under a humidity dome till they srout, then I lift off the lid and turn on the light, 99% germ and sprout rate I've had...everyone has their own ways ofc ;)

Is the one inch rockwool cubes by choice or just how the clubs have their clones?
Thats the prefered medium I guess. I've only got clones from a couple different clubs but they were always in rockwool. She has the small clones (3 to 4 inch tall) in 1 in cubes and the large (12 to 14 in. tall) in 4 in. cubes.

Hey Pang, Yes I agree it sounds like a better transition for the girls. Im getting clones and they are already in rockwool. No choice there. Thats how she gets them. I do plan on keeping them indoors the first ten days or so. 2 days in the cubes then a week in soil so I can keep an eye on them while they root in the soil. Then a couple hours a day outside for a few days to harden them off and they will stay in the greenhouse. I will keep them in smaller pots so I can put them up on a rack in the most sun while they are small. Once they are about a foot tall they go in the bags.

That was four plants? I thought it was six. Oh yea, you had 2 in pots against the house.
So that area was what, 6 foot square right? I got 8x12, yea it will be a full house alright.

Oh yea, there will be plenty of support. I took apart this shelving unit I had and I have the three sides (24" by 72")
Im gonna use as screens or shelves when they are small and two 2x4's above each plant to tie to.

did you ever think of a pvc pipe/visqueen greenhouse? I was over fooling around on youtube and saw a ton of them pretty cool and cheap too, like 300$ for a 12x12
