when the most bottom leaves are over 2-3 inchs from the soil for seedlings then its stretching and theres not enough light. but after like two weeks the main stem will stifin up and get alittle longer

Hey,

You managed to sort out the heat issue with two bulbs Kayla?

Personally, I'd wait until she shows a little stretch before i'd bother. She seems to be staying nice and short, which normally means they're getting enough light. But that's my opinion, try get opinions off others, I may be wrong. But at least then you can make a choice based on what you think is best :)

But whenever you feel it can take that extra heat, try it out :) Just keep an eye on your Wiley and the temps if you do.

And BTW...

Wiley's looking wild! :)

Thanks :) I think I will add another 26w CFL in there tomorrow and just move them up a little bit and keep an eye on temps and stuff before I got to work :P

She IS stocky! It's great! And yes! I am not very educated on topping and things like that but I will def be getting advice from experienced growers on here and doing anything I can to get the most out of the Rubbermaid grow box. She has two leaves right underneath one set so I added an extra light today to give them light too but I'm sure at some point I will be trimming anyways.
