Drop the drains when the roots pop through the cup, drop them all the way down . You'll want to have the sprayer hitting the top of the tubes to create a mist.

Sounds like you're figuring out the truth about the aeroflo on your own.

Not sure why you thought you were going to get a mist from the aeroflow, mist only happens in High Pressure Aeroponics (HPA or TAG) not with Low Pressure Aeroponics (LPA or FAG). HPA requires at least 80 PSI, and accumulator tank, and much much more. The truth is the only advantage is slightly higher yields, like 5% or less higher, and it all comes with 1000 more headaches that come along with HPA. The aeroflo is a Aero/NFT hybrid system similar to so many of the DIY versions around here (I also run a DIY Aero/NFT). With LPA you get spray, not mist.

How do I know this? Because I have run both HPA and LPA styles side by side a number of times, and I have never seen any improvement in quality from one to the other. I only saw the slightly higher yields about half of the time, so higher yields may be total bullshit. If I was in a zero gravity environment I would go HPA, but don't think I'll be growing in space anytime soon.

Moral of the story is, you will do fine with the aeroflo, most likely better than you would with an HPA cuase there are so many more variables.

As for your interval timer you want to let your roots get as dry as they can without damaging them so they can absorb the maximum amount of oxygen. I have great success with 80 seconds on and 8 minutes off, which many other RUI members have also had great success with.

Alright, finally, please don't take this the wrong way, but your forum seems to confuse me a bit. Are you asking for help, or are you just looking to have people give you praise for your grow? I have found that learning about others' grows helps me greatly with mine, even after decades as a grower. Saying "i care not about anyones gro other than my own." makes you sound kinda like a dick, or a selfish little kid, fyi. If you are looking for help I am happy to give it, but that comes in the form of talking about my grow so I am not sure if that follows your rule as stated above.

i didnt mean it like that. meant for the bashers. im really doing this for some arogant fuck dumme on here that asked me to do it. tried to call me a liar and shit. Aero in the name made me think a mist or spray, but in reality it means roots suspended in air. I think anyway, seems like a cool setup with couple minor flaws,

Those are the mothers in soil. I only put those pix cuz my camera on phone is broke so i used my laptop to take pic so i could post it then sign in with my phone so i could save the pic to send via text to a friend lol. Leaves are drooping a little because i just watered them.

Do u have a res for your ro? In order to do a res change? I cant. Really set one up right now because of where im setup. Kinda didnt really think about that til now. Lol.
I dont think they can last 8 hrs it takes to get 40 gallons out of my ro to get fed

I actually have 0 to 50 ppm out of the tap cause I have the best water in the USA, so I dont run RO.
I keep both of my res' refilling from my dehumidifier so I don't have to refill very often.

what about nutrient change? and it seems my ph is wanting to stay right at 6.8. i add down and next day its back to 6.8 dont go any higher and ph probe has been calibrated

updateed pix. I see the growth

Dammmm im glad i showed up when i did my feed pump went completely out... had to spend 100 on a new one bummed about it.

Maybe im paranoid and in panic mode after my pump went out and the rails were getting warm. I notices some tanish on one plants root, had little slimy glaze to it. I pinched those off right away and now im paranoid. The water temp hasnt gotten over 68 degrees in the res but with the pump out for an hour or more who knows how warm they got. I first noticed tan roots in the clone machine. I will stick with rockwool from here on out. Just easier and less moving parts.

Here we are 1 week in lolliepopping

The rail with little growth is one that those 6 werent showing roots when i put them in. They are lagging behind but got roots now.

Hmm. Keep lowering it to 5.8 once per day and if the problem persists I would do a full res change and clean out with clearex.

Yield has many variables. My last harvest I had a plant with 1.5 oz and one with more than 9 oz. Variables include genetics, training of your plants, veg time, and more.
