My First Grow - Dresser Stealth

This idea started several weeds ago. I decided, with my straight As in high school in my honors and AP classes, that I needed to explore the limit of my mind one last time. Ive smoked weed before, and now I want to again, along with some other stuff ive found like 2C-I and shrooms.

I have a 3 1/2 ft tall dresser in my bedroom. I took the bottom out of 2 of the drawers. I manufactured a plank of wood housing 4 CFL bulbs (2X23W 5500K and 2X18W 2700K) and i mounted it on a hinge so the height is variable a bit.



I put a PC fan vent on a tube out the back. The tube goes thru an AC outlet into my attic. smooth rite?


These seeds i swiped from my parents weed stash. Me and my friends agree its decent shit.



DAY 1
I put 8 seeds in a wet washcloth and put them in a cup in my cabinet. I wait

Day 2
I check the seeds and spritz them with water, nothing yet.

Day 3
I check the seeds again, all but 2 have sprouted. I am very excited.


Due to lack of supplies and surplus of ingenuity I will end up planting them in half water bottles

DAY 4
I have been checking back on my plants often, watering a little bit.

I have city water, so I let the water sit out for 36 hours at least before I use it.

Only one plant has sprouted thusfar, its looking very nice.


One of 6 so far, we'll see what happens next

Day 8

Have been watering and spritzing daily, I also have been rotating them in the grow area, so that they get equal treatment since the CFLs are only inches above them.

2 others have sprouted now, and the first is looking very good.




Also feel free to post any comments or suggestions, as I am certainly not above any helpful advice

Day 15 now, 2 of my original seeds didnt sprout, so I planted 2 new ones. Those took immediately. Here are some pics, anyone want to suggest what to look for as a sign to upgrade pots? I can see roots (see pic) but they arent dense or anything.

Day 22

My parents caught me. It was funny. My dad said not to do it in his house. I told them I moved it to my friends house while they were out (its in my attic now, the grow continues!)


A few were looking a little droopy yesterday. I watered them last night and today they are looking a little better.








So far so good, eh?

Day 33:

Its been 33 days now (started germination on Oct 1st) and I transplanted two of the 6 plants about 5 days ago. They are holding well, and the other 4 are all looking great. I am transplanting another tonight.

This is so tough to do, because I live with my parents, and this is in my attic above my kitchen, I literally have to wait until 2am to crawl into this attic (where it is 50 degrees) to my space.

On that note, it gets to be 60 in my grow dresser at night, anyone feel thats too low? I can easily add a small incandescent to fix the problem.

Day 41
Plants growing very strong. Thermometer shows lows of 65 during the night and only 75 during the day, so I need to install a small incandescant. Due to the size of these babies, I am constructing a new grow area in my attic, involving a false wall. Will post pics when I am done.
