Yes, after I added the bigger light the roots started to grow faster and the plants are drinking water now. I had to top up after few days.

Looks like Mg def. Mg starts to be absorbed at 5.8ph in hydro. If you are consistently under this ph level, it's certainly possible and that would be my guess. Maybe get your ph to 6.0 for a couple days and see if that helps on the new growth.

Update week 8

First plant looks very good and started to drink a lot of water, almost drank all in 3-4 days I had to top up 75% just a litle mag def on some old leaves.

Second one doesnt look so good, that root problem is still there and many leaves are affected by mag def, anyway the root is getting bigger even if is not looking so good. The plant didn't grow much is stunned or something. I added some mg nute and h2o2 to water, hopefully it will be good. Also noticed a earthy smell in the second bucket. The first one has it too but much less.

P.S tomorrow my Piranha 0,25 l Advanced Nutrients will be delivered and I hope that will fix my root problem for the second plant.

Hey man,

The roots on the 2nd plant look damaged. It certainly looks like Pythium. How are the water temps?

The 1st plant looks good. What have you tried on the 2nd plant, in terms of roots repair?

When the light is on the temp is 75 and when the light is off it drops to 66.
I tried H202 and now I have Advanced Nutrients Piranha.

Hey man,

How's things looking?
Yo!
Everything looks ok, the roots are almost double in size now. I don't know if is the AD Piranha or just the normal progress of the plant.
In 3 days I will switch to 12/12 they look ready to flower.
One of the plants still have some problems but the roots are growing and she drink water now. I don't want to delay the flower period because I'm already behind.
Will post pics soon.

Hey man, nice work fighting the root rot! I have a question, if I may. I'm going to go DWC in a few days for the first time ever and I have been reading up on h202. I was wondering how much do you use for prevention and when do you add it? THanks a lot man.

Yo, thanks man.
I stop using the H202 because I bought Advanced Nutrients Piranha and H202 will kill the beneficial bacteria or whatever is in that Piranha soup.
Plants look good. New white root for the second affected plant. She drink water now and growing good, still a little dirt on old roots but I think is ok.
I have to top up every 2 days with at least 5 liters for each bucket. That eats a lot of nutes but the result is good, I like what I see.

Update:

Plants now in flowering period.
No more root rot, roots are nice and clean over 1 meter. Problem now is the bucket is too small for the roots. Looking for upgrade ideas.
It seems Advanced Nutrients Piranha helped a lot. No more root problem. YUHUHU
Pics soon.

Your plants are looking good. Another thing that helps with root rot is hydrozyme. I used to run an undercurrent DWC system. I would have problems with rot in warmer months until I started using it.

My God, I hope you already flipped those, they are going to fill up that entire tent top to bottom!
Haha, Yes I'm affraid now I don't have enough space for them and at start I was worried because I though I have too much space and only 2 plants. LoL

Thanks man, I'm happy too with the results.
EC is 1.3-1.4 and the water I use has 0.4 EC without anything in it.
So I add about 1 EC of nutes Powder Feeding, 3 ml of Mg, and some Advanced Nutrients Piranha.
I keep the PH at 5.8-6.0
Powder feeding is good I like this, is simple and plant grow great. I just had to add a little Mg and everything is good. No more problems at this moment.
About the water temp I didn't check it anymore but last time when I checked was 23-24 degrees during light.

Thanks, I tried to find hydrozyme but the only thing I could find in my area is Advanced Nutrients Piranha and it worked great.

Now I have to refill the buckets every 2 days. The plants drinks all the water in 2 days....kinda too much..I don't know

Keep the pics coming mate.

The water temps are still high, you could try wrapping some insulation foil around them as this will help a little. Also put airpump in a cooler location.

Post somepics of the roots when u get a chance mate.

They are HUGE
