My first 3 chamber closet grow with Blueberry

My first attempt at growing in hydroponics has been a disaster so this is still my 1st grow (if you know what I mean) but this time Im beginning in soil here we go.

Instead of making a closet or purchasing a tent or two I purchased a Closet "The g-kit 400 combi with 400W cooltube and chambers for motherplants and clones" to be precise (see pics)

Dimesion (hxwxd): 176 x 88 x 58 cm

I had a little money to spend at the time so I went all out but I recommend you guys never spend this amount of money on such a little setup.

10 x Blueberry seeds bought from Pukka seeds for approx £110. 2 germinated in small glass of tap water within 48 hours & placed in 10cm x 10cm pots of soil ( B&Q Sowing and Cutting Compost 8240G 12L) purchased from B & Q. As you can tell by looking in the pics below I didnt use perlite but I will be transplanting in to a larger pot once they grow & get taller Ill using so Ill use it later. Right now the pots are in the smallest chamber (bottom left in the 1st pic) which has 2 x Fluros (36 watts in total) but Ill switch it on when I see a sprout (some people say you should switch it on immediately but I dont see the difference if the seeds are covered in the soil). Ill state the specs of the other chambers as I go along.

Well thats it for now feel free to comment boys & girls :-P

It came with all lighting in all chambers including transformer, timers, RVK fan, CO2 filter and of course ducting all give all the details as I move the plants from chamber to chamber through out the grow.
More pics tomorrow.

The temp is 22-24C & humidity at 40-50% but when I touch the soil it seems cool to the touch (probably because it is moist) should I purchase a "Soil temperature probe"? If so which one do you fellas recommend & what should the temperature of the soil be or am I over thinking it?

Took a look at pots today & in one of them I found a sprout WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!
Finally I got it right for the first time muhummuh muihuhuh mmhumhmu mhmu hmuhumhumhmu (thats me doing the Ricky Gervais dance).

Anyway peek the pics tell me what ya think guys/girls.

robbie82 for you Ive taken a few pics of the clone chamber (though Im using it for seedlings)

Is it normal for the sprout to be a pale green complexion at this point? Im gonna need all the help I can get at this point to keep it growing.

i used a humidity dome for mine at that stage until it was a bit bigger, but if it's a warm humid environment it'll be fine. how is it responding to the fluros?

Illhave to give it a few days its hard to tell. Any recommendations in terms of climate and environment specifically for blueberry plants?

Every grow report Ive read mentions that its easy to overfeed, so low nute levels would be your best bet. You should be fine in soil tho as youve got a good buffer.

Other than that same as you would grow any other strain, cant see it being to hard to grow as its mainly indica.

Dude was that your temp/humid that said 107/90?? If so like thats bad..

Might want to kick on the fan. 107 is 27 to high. +/- a few degrees. 90% is only good for sprouts for the 1st few days. Both problems should get kicked down a bit with the fan on.

What cfm dose your fan pull? I'm sure its plenty.
You must get those numbers down! ASAP

My temp is at 22-24C & humidity at 40-45% the exhaust fan is an
"Inline Silent RVK/LTI small fan 125mm 5" 225m³ / hour" but its not so silent because of the air flow (you know that wooshing sound he he he). The fan creates a vacume from chamber to chamber (kinda like 3 rooms in a row but partitioned and air holes in all the walls & the first room with an intake hole & the last room with the exaust fan pulling air outwards does that make sense?)

Day 2 in the "Iloveit Grow Closet" & it seem to be doing ok... I think  I cant help but check on them every couple of hour its so relieving that Ive finally managed to grow this strain despite what Ive read about Blueberry.

2 x fluros (36W in total) over the sprout with temps at 27C & humidity at 83%. Ive been opening the propagator hood 3 times today to allow it to breath & have misted within the hood 3 times also. So far so good.

When should I remove the propagator hood completely & begin adding nutes (Ionic nutes although I purchased them for hydro it should be ok to use in soil).
Should I be worried about the stale water scent in the propagator from misting? My pressure spray bottles are begin to smell aswell even though I refilled it 1 day ago with H2O2.

Check out the pics (I couldnt help attaching 3 pics of the same sprout, Im so proud of my babies sniff sniff)

Had to jump over and check out your grow. I will be following closely with your use of the Ionic Nutes. I will let you know how mine goes as well! Keep it up and happy growing!!!!
