My 2nd, first time growing :)

So after the watering I tested the runoff ppm and ph.... HOLY SHIT the ppm was over 1600... so 6.5 gallons of 6.8 ph water later i was able to get the runoff ppm to 750, with a ph of 6.2.

Lesson learned.

After all the learning I have done over the last few months growing in soil, I'm going to try and expand my knowledge a little more. I think I'm dangerous enough now to try a 5 gallon dwc system. Probably only doing 2 buckets, but from the results I've seen, there is no comparision in yeild when it comes to dwc.

Anyway...just trying to successfully finish this grow. Not too much longer...

Yah too much feeding is overwatering is lways the problem first round. You should give coco a try next round. If you setup multiple feedings a day it will be very close to full hydro. That shoukd give the learning experience you are looking though although dwc isnt particularly that hard and im sure u could figure it out.

Well Ive been studying the dwc pretty heavy and it seems like it would be simple: What you put in the bucket is what you get. Keep an eye on the ph, water temp, and ppm and you're good. I have already found a chiller and a pretty sweet 5 gal setup. I can do it... I wanna see more of this haha!

Veg area almost ready...gotta get the ventilation done and im set. Hopefully in a few weeks I can move my white widow and diesel's in there from the seedling area...

Day 22 of flower... liking what I'm seeing!

Looks good bud keep it up. That clawing u seen on ur leaves can be 2 things. Over wattering(if u flushed) or slight nutrtient overdose.

Fed 2 gallons of 6.8 ph water with calmag added at a ppm of 685. Runoff ppm and Ph were at 650 and 6.1, respectively.

Woah add calmag to max of 400 ppm. Thats alot, you dont wanna overdo it.

What is ur water ppm before nutrients?

Well it was 340ppm with calmag per gallon of water... my starting ppm is 070. I added it this time because it was showing signs of calmag deficiency..(the white spots in random leaves...)

if not calmag deficiency...maybe this could be from ph fluctiation?

Before you do anything else inspect that plant thoroughly as hell and make sure theres arent any "uninvited guests" that have claimed that plant home. Thats my guess before going any further. Look on both the top and undersides of the leaf

Okay. Will do shortly. I have a magnifier with a light... i haven't seen any webs or small creatures... i keep the humidity super low....and have her sealed pretty well... hmm...I hope it isnt bugs...

Look on the bottom sides of the leaves thats prolly why u havent seen em if they are there.

Its prolly gonna be something like thrips if it is

No bugs whatsoever. I have been inspecting all leaves after trimming, too...nothing on the top or bottom.

No light or dark spots that move, and no webbing...I used a bright light and my 60x magnifier. Nothing
