I now know for sure they are all female. Got home from work checked them out, and they are all showing pistils. I was surprised to see the pistils. Thought it would be another week or so for that. These autos grow fast! Monday will be three weeks since germination. Still no nutes but a foliage spray of some b1. I will be watering with a mix of sugardaddy and root66 immediately after transplanting as per my recipe for success. Wondering how long after transplanting do I start feeding the nutes for the vegetative stage? How long do I keep feeding these autos the grow nutes before switching to bloom nutes? I will be transplanting tonight and also switching the light to 20/4. Been on 24/7 so far. Should I keep the light on 24/7 for a couple more weeks and then switch to 20/4 for flowering. Is it even going to matter since they are autos? Trying to figure out when to use nutes for veg and flowering stages of autos. Thanks for any info and advice! Tried to get a few pics of the pistils but couldn't. Will post some new pics tomorrow!

During the first couple of weeks growing, they should just have weekly light feedings of a “veg nutes". When they go into full flower, they should be started on the “flower nutes” , usually between about weeks 4 through 6. I would also use the root additives which seem to work very well with autoflowering thru about week 5. (overlapping)

edit. congrats on the females (tho dont stop looking or male bits)

also dont be afraid to try a comparison grow, just good organic soil and bat guano can bring great results with autos also.

HigH people. Finally able to take some pics and sit down and relax. Had a pretty good weekend watching some UFC and NFL. Also had to send off my info to renew my MMJ authorization which is exempt in a few weeks. Well saturday night I transplanted them, and I also have them on the timer. 20/4 light schedule now. I was asking a few questions about switching the light schedule for autos. Thanks for all the replies and info everyone! One good piece of info I did read was the joint dr's grow guide for autos. I read that awhile back and forgot about it like a stoner. That has some good info for growing autos. Anyway they seem to be doing fine after the transplant. At least this rookie cant see any signs that they are shocked. Anything special I should be looking for? Pretty sure tomorrow after work I will be giving them their first feeding. They should be pretty thirsty by then. Gonna go with a qrtr strength on all nutes, and see what happens.I took a bunch of new pics tonight and a few I was able to get some close-ups of the pistils. I did that by putting a magnifying glass in front of the lens. Worked out alright in a few pics. Enjoy, thanks for following, and let me know what you think!P9270143.jpgP9270078.jpgP9270138.jpgP9270107.jpgP9270106.jpgP9270102.jpgP9270147.jpgP9270123.jpgP9270080.jpgP9270129.jpg

HigH everyone. Well I have been really busy haven't been able to make any updates lately. I will post some pics hopefully later today or tomorrow for sure! Well all three young ladies are just about a month old. The 6th will be one month. I gave them their first feeding four days ago. I fed them at half the recommended strength. Have not noticed anything wrong they look really healthy. Today when I get home from work I will be watering with some molasses. Pretty sure it is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. They should be really thirsty by the time I get home. Like I said they look really healthy one of the onyx has come from behind and is now the tallest of the three plants at about 9" tall. Who knows that could change by the time I get home from work. There are lots of pistils on all the plants. Well time to get back to work. I will make another post today or tomorrow with some good pics! Thanks for following.

Are you going to be doing any cropping or LST?
At first I wanted to do lst on one but decided to wait till next grow since this is my first. Guess I just want to get one under my belt. Is it to late to start LST? Not sure how to crop or exactly what cropping is. I'll look it up. Just got home gonna take some pics and water and will try and post in a little while. If not tonight in the morning for sure.

Its not too late for LST. read Mcpurple's "Show me what you got LST" thread and HookdonCronics first two grows for great examples with LST. I'm on my first grow and you can see I have nice little bushes now due to the LST techniques those guys used. I may have mis-spelled Hookd's screen name but he has posts on my thread, he has jesus and weed in his avatar you can't miss him :)

Thank you Fictional Grower and TSKY for the info in your posts. I am interested in LST and using bat guano in the future. Thanks. I did give them some water and molasses today. They are looking really good to me and smell great. I was wondering if it is alright to move some of those bigger leaves out of the way and let some light to some underneath foliage. Hope so because I did in a couple spots where they were totally covering some pistils. Well wednesday will be a month since they were germinated. Gotta go for now time for dinner enjoy the pics and thanks for checking out my first grow!PA020045.jpgPA020052.jpgPA020047.jpgPA020057.jpgPA020051.jpgPA020059.jpgPA020062.jpgPA020050.jpgPA020048.jpgPA020056.jpgPA020046.jpg

hmm prehaps drill some small holes in your pots and just gentle pull the offending branches out of the way and possibly the tops then tie them to the sides of the pots or find somthing to stake them down with but if u dont mind drilling the pots thats probably easier and means no risk of staking roots lol

Anyone using molasses or have used it? I'm wondering if you water with molasses every watering or is it every other watering? I would think every other watering. If you use molasses every other watering, do you add molasses to your nutes also? I would think not. Not sure though. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have not used it but the folks I have seen use it, use it 1tbspn per gallon every other watering.
Thanks for the info! I did a little research after my last post guess i was lazy earlier. Anyway I was checking out the girls today and noticed on the easyryder that a couple leaves have turned yellow at the very tip of the leaf. These leaves are on the top of the plant coming out of what is the main cola. I tried to take a few pics hopefully someone can make out what I am talking about. I have only seen it on the one plant so far. It's something I will monitor. Thanks for any info anyone has!PA040042.jpgPA040039.jpgPA040040.jpgPA040036.jpgPA040035.jpg

Well they are doing great and I'll try and post some pics in the morning. I just fed them. One of the onyx is 16" tall the other is 14 and a half. The easyryder is also 14 and a half. The 6th was one month from seed. I can't wait to see what the next couple of weeks bring! I decided to do a full dose of the nutes this time. Hope they can take it. I think so they look really healthy to this rookie. I'm still watching those tips. Hasn't gotten anymore yellow though there is some curling on that plant which is the easyryder. The two onyx seem fine to me. Like I said I'll try and get up some pics soon. Thanks for following!

HigH everyone. Well today is day 36 for my girls since germination. They are doing awesome in my rookie opinion. They are all showing some good growth since their last feeding a day and a half ago. I gave them a full dose of the nutes and also some molasses. I swear the EasyRyder has grown 2" in the last 12 hrs. She is now 18" tall and does still have some curling and a little yellowing on the tips of some of the small leaves near the top. I'm not sure what the problem is. I do believe they look a little better since the last feeding. Here are some new pics of the EasyRyderPA100069.jpgPA100070.jpgPA100072.jpgPA100077.jpgPA100075.jpg

Both of the Onyx are doing killa also! I dont really see anything wrong with them. The only difference between the 2 is that one is 19" tall and the other is 15 and a half" tall. These pics are of the 15 and a half inch tall ONYX: PA100067.jpgPA100068.jpgPA100082.jpgPA100078.jpgPA100081.jpgPA100083.jpgPA100103.jpg

Here are pics of the 19" ONYX:

This is my first ever grow so I may be missing some things so please feel free to give some good quality advice on what I should or shouldn't be doing. So far i am loving the 270W Enhanced Spectrum Supernova LED light. Last week I had a problem with the power supply unit. Seems the fan was crapping out. So I emailed them(HID-HUT) told them the prob and they sent out a new power supply with the quickness! The old one never crapped out completely. I did go buy a little fan that I had blowing over the power supply until I got the new one in the mail. Now I just have to return the bad one. That is the only problem I have had with this light. seems like the new power supply is an updated version that was manufactured in August. Anyway time to go medicate and watch some NFL. I'm tok'n on some Mango Redway, Blue Diesel/Headband and some Lambs Breath/?.Thanks for following!
