Most stupid moments in movies

Everybody facepalm sometimes when watching a movie or series. Post some of yours, but try to keep away from major spoilers.

One of my most favorite facepalm moments is in Jurassic Park and I'll quote it for you.
"Henry Wu: You're implying that a group composed entirely of female animals will... breed?
Dr. Ian Malcolm: No, I'm, I'm simply saying that life finds a way."

That was an aftershock. My SW Facepalm Moment is when Lucas went with the frightful cliché and actually made Darth Luke's dad. From there, it was all downhill. cn

In Ransom, with Mel Gibson, there is a scene near the end where he is in an elevator with the kidnapper. The kidnapper has one broken arm in a sling and his only good hand is holding a gun,...away from Gibson's character. Now, an elevator is an excellent place to fight. Who wouldn't, or couldn't, beat a one armed man who took your kid hostage? I saw that turd when it came out 15 yrs ago and it still makes me angry. Fight! Goddamnit!

In Total Recall when Arnold gets blasted out onto Mars' surface

In Gone in 60 Seconds when Nicolas Cage uses that perfectly placed ramp to jump dozens of cars to escape being captured by the police and almost crashes but barely makes it

In looper when they close the loop and send the person back. Instead of going directly to the incinerator they needlessly hire a looper to kill and dispose of the body. Just make the time machine destination go directly to an incinerator.

There were a ton of stupid scenes in 007 Skyfall that really bugged me,Im surprised everyone liked it so much. When the villain (Javier Bardem) escaped from the glass box and was going to the court house to kill M (Judy Dench), why didnt they just call ahead and tell them to evacuate..they knew he was going there and it took like 20 min,he showed up and killed guards (who could have shot him if they knew he was coming) and she barely got away.

And then at the end when they were at the house in the country and M and the old guy escape through the tunnel from the basement out into the field, her dumb ass starts waving the flashlights around like glowsticks in the dark, and the villain easily spots them.
