Good news on the heat issue...the max temp the PC case reached over night was 79.8 degrees - only about 8 degrees warmer than ambient air - and that was at the canopy. When I left the house this morning it was at 80.5 so I'm sure she did well until 11:30AM when she goes lights out...the growth on C was phenomenal, she is really starting to look like a plant should at 12 days. I could tell that A and B also responded well to the nutes I watered them with yesterday. I took pics to upload today but forgot the camera at home - d'oh! peace:leaf:

thanks skefaman, i'm in about 99% agreement with you...and yeah, I certainly know what she should look like, and I may just bag her, but as I promised to wait til monday i'll hold to that...although I'll be germ-ing a couple more over the weekend to take her place.

edit: nice looking plant there...peace

Actually that plant doesn't look too awful small for the way you are growing. Keep in mind a 12/12 seedling will be about half the size of a 24/0 seedling. And I have the same little gnat things in my plants. I always do. I usually just leave them they don't eat the plant just scatter like crazy when I water.

hey got#s (wish I did)...thanks for coming by.
the gnats are gone since I switched to quality soil. and the small one, damn her, is starting to show some life. :-) i'm familiar with 12/12 grows as I've done four myself, but she's puny by all standards...but hey...i got nothing to lose but a few spare electrons and photons so now it's a charity case :-)

Ide keep the small plant because of its size, I've found that they can be potential investments for small stocky plantsJust if you throw a fan on em, just keep showing it some TLC through veg and you should see a bushy plant.

hey got#s...off my first grow where I had two plants grow to full maturity but were real small, I'd say I got about 7 grams dried per plant...but the weed was killer so I consumed much less per session, if you know what i mean. 12/12 didn't get me to harvest any faster. i was growing bagseeds (unknown genetics) and it took a full 3 months plus a week or two. my second grow resulted in four males out of four male, but took 31 days to show sex...then my next grow was four genetics freak that grew well for two weeks then stopped growing altogether...i shit canned them at four weeks and started my current grow.

as my first grow was my only successful grow so far, I wouldn't put much stock in my weights, I'm sure there are more on RIU that have grown 12/12 more than I and have had better results, in fact I am certain of it. but I certainly will post what I get out of these three provided they all are girls and go full term.

Hey all,
How's everyone's Sunday? I got a couple of things to report.

A is doing better, I may let her live beyond Monday as I'm getting good green growth at the top, older leaves are yellowing and falling off, perhaps she's turning the corner.

B is showing some alarming yellowing in the first set of leaves. I fed her 1/8 strength nutes on Thursday. It may have been way too early as she's was only about 12 days old, I also fed the other two and she's the only one really complaining about it, if it is indeed nute burn. I looked at some of the diagnostic threads and didn't see anything that was exactly like her, but if you would, give the pictures of Plant B a look and let me know what you think.

C is doing great. The heat issue in her PC case is totally under control :hump: and she is drinking alot. I had to water her again on Saturday - a mere two days from the last watering. I gave her H2O with some molasses. Next watering will be a clean PHed water flush so I can test her runoff, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Hey m8.
That 2nd pic looks a bit like bleaching from too much light. Did you have it right up close to the bulb very early on?

hey V12...yeah, she's just under 2 inches from a 26W 6500K bulb with a 26W 2700K about 3 inches away...too much light? i was trying to avoid stretching...

thx for looking

Nah not to much light i use a 68 watt 2700k and two 27 watt 6500k CFL's on the Mody Dick plant in my cfl grow and you can tell it likes it very much :peace:

I tend to start mine a little further away and move them up slowly. They do seem to burn or bleach quite easily when they are very young. The new growth above it looks cool though so it looks like the light levels are fine now.

Hey all,

OK, seems strange but I decided to switch the closet cab with A & B in it to an 18/6 light schedule. I wanted to see if I could get some vegging out of the two of them. They seemed to have responded pretty well and the pics should show. I flushed B today to see what the Ph of the runoff was and it was right at 6.6...still curious as to what may have caused the bottom set of leaves to go yellow with brown tips...oh well, I'm not panicking. Also, A has really bounced back from the brink of death. I said I'd give her til today to show some significant improvement and I think she listened. Check out the pic that compares her today to pics from a week ago...simply amazing. I won't give up on plants as easily as I was going to give up on this one.

C continues to kick butt, growing quite fast for a 12/12 grow. Flushed her today and her runoff PH was 6.5, so no complaining here. Don't worry about the droopy leaves on her as I took the photos about 20 minutes after I flushed her...she'll be fine.

hey thanks toll for stopping by...

update days 25/18/16

I watered A today...thought I was doing just straight water but watered her with the nute mixture instead...she'll prolly be fine, shit, she can't get much worse.

B is doing good, no further spread of the yellowing at least for now, and she's starting to show some good growth.

C is coming along nicely...a little bit of cupping on a couple of leaves. I removed one of the bulbs from the PC grow case for now, and lowered her a little bit, she's now 3-4 inches from the light source...her nodes are way too close for my comfort level...need some spacing there.

thx for looking...peace:leaf:
