Looking really good! Ive been using hyponix soil and it seems to be working fine for me. Idk, maybe you got a shitty bag of it, lol. Good to see A has been coming around and C looks really good. Keep up the good work!

hey thanks wooly...on the hyponix soil, my first grow was in it and those plants did great. then i got like three bags in a row (from three different stores) that had bugs in it, and then i got that last bag, and it just seemed like shit...but i'll tell ya, I am really pleased with the fox farms soil...just wish it came in smaller bags as it's tough for me to find a place to stash it away from prying eyes...I currently have it in a flat plastic rolling storage container that goes under the bed...brilliant i might add! thanks for the comment and for stopping by!!!

hey breakneck...thnks m8...i'm smiling more and more each day watching them grow up...like raising kids man, like raising kids.

update coming later today...peace:leaf:

Hey all,

A (26 days) and B (19 days) continue to thrive in the 18/6 veg lighting...no shock apparent from switching to 18/6 after going their whole lives on 12/12. A couple more weeks like this and I'll switch them back to 12/12.

C (17 days) is doing well except for the first picture below that's an extreme closeup of the bottom most fan leaf that is showing some strange discoloration (it's happening on the opposite fan leaf too), although it looks like something is eating the top most layer of the leaf, the green waxy part. It's strange and I have no other signs of an infection or bugs...I'm not certain what to make of it.

any ideas would be appreciated...

thanks for looking and peace:leaf:

hi sixmore...thanks for coming by and good luck on yours...hope they are all girls!

hey bigbud...depending on what country your in (edit: just saw your location: holland)...i found the adapters at Home Depot and Lowes...real cheap and real convenient. As far as intake air, I have an intake fan near the bottom-front of the PC case...i had to add a layer of my mylar foil between the plastic facade of the PC case and the fan as you could see light leakage without it...the plastic front of the case would glow bright - not good for stealthy ops...and as I have this PC case sitting next to my TV in the living room, it wouldn't do. Yeah that's right, I grow in a PC case in my livingroom...I love it when guests come over and have no clue I'm growing just a few feet away from them. My wife doesn't even know what's in it...she thinks its a Home Theater PC...

Hey all,

C has got one heck of a rash on her first and second set of leaves, and just starting to show on the third set. I first noticed this yesterday and sure enough it got worse over night.

I checked out the problems forum and this looks like the description for Potassium deficiency...but I'm not totally certain. Any insight any of you might have would be appreciated...I did feed her nutes on Monday, then mistakenly lightly fed her nutes again on Wednesday...so maybe she is suffering from nute burn. I'll flush her tonight and see how she is. I thought nute burn showed up more like a yellowing...

anyways thanks for helping...peace:leaf:

Hey all,

Well, thanks to my double nuting of C (day 20), I can now write a thread on how to nearly kill an otherwise fine plant...not only did I double nute...but to add insult to injury I LSTed her a little...I figured if she's already going to be in shock due to the over nuting...then we'll add this little additional torture to stress her a bit more...yeah..good plan. you'll see in the pics...hopefully she'll snap back.

B (day 22) is looking really fine...responding well to the 18/6 light interval and some nutes this recent feeding.

A (day 29) is also doing well. I decided to start her LSTing and she's responding well, she also likes the change in light schedule and I think she'll take to lst well.

Hey all,

What an amazing morning. I didn't have a chance to really check on the three little ones over the weekend, so this morning I knew I was going to be busy.

First my cheese bean cracked on Sunday and I had to get her in dirt ASAP...so first things first. I'm starting her out in a redcup 16oz with a humi-dome in the 18/6 cabinet, on a stand to get her closer to the lights. This will be D when she cracks ground. The bean had a taproot and the shell was open a bit, exposing the really little cotelydons...I should have put her in dirt yesterday but didn't get the chance. I'm sure she'll be fine.

B (day 24) caught my eye cuz it's just filling out really nice, with nicely colored flat leaves that look so healthy. And the secondary growth on this one is very nice. It's going to be quite bushy. No signs of sex, which I am not surprised by at only 24 days. :weed:

Next, I took a good long look at A, it's at day 31 and so very small. This was the one I nearly trashed a couple of weeks ago. Anyways, I'm getting ready to take a close up of her undergrowth when, wait a minute...what's that? Holy shit! It's a girl! I was stunned...although timewise she's ready to mature, she is so so small...not as small as rolltides little girl but almost. Hey, I said I wanted to grow bonsai plants, but even I have to admit that this one is rediculous. Gonna see her through though...I figure in about 6-8 weeks she'll be a nice cola.

As I decided to use the hurricane names for this season to name mine...the A plant has become Ana.

I move on to the little one I nearly killed last week due to overnuting and LSTing. "C" has been on 16/8 lighting for about a week, and was 12/12 before that. It's only 22 days old. I'm looking the plant over for signs of intranodal growth...not much...and she's only four small nodes in size. There's a thick patch of what looks like new growth coming out the top. I decide to look closer to see where I might FIM it...and it's after I open the growth a little bit that I see the long white hairs, a whole shitload of them. She's had to have been flowering for at least 2 days...I nearly lost it...C potentially flowered at day 20, definitely by day 21. I've never seen a plant flower that early. So, in following with the naming, she is now Claudette.

I'm happy, 2 out of 3, so far, are girls. I really hope the best looking one, B, is a skirt wearer.

Hey all....been two weeks since last post.

Ana is doing great. This was the plant I was going to toss cuz she wasn't growing for the longest time...now she's a perfect little bonsai lollipop girl that's gonna have a great cola. 14 days post sexing...i figure another 7-9 weeks for her...maybe less.

The B plant. Well, the B stood clearly stood for balls...so I killed him. Very sad as the LST job I did on him was perfect, ran a perfect circle right around the rim of the pot.He had about 10 nice bud sites, maybe more.

Claudette is doing OK...heavy LST with her...not much flowering happening yet, but she's getting there..

Hey all,

Just a couple more pics of Ana and Claudette...

The two girls are so different, Claudette is just a single cola bonsai girl not even 9 inches tall yet. And Ana is bushy, multi-bud site, heavy LSTed, and looking real pretty, especially her main cola (see pic below). Also, absolutely no odor that I can detect from these two at this time. I know it'll come but I'm surprised I'm not smelling them yet.

Pic 1: Ana: LSTed to death
Pic 2: Ana: close up of main cola top
Pic 3: Claudette: close up of middle of cola spine

Will have pics tomorrow of the new crop starting out...that has a mix of Cheese, Cali Hash and bagseed - five attempts in all.

Hey all,

A is doing great, multi-cola, LSTed to death and she's loving it. 26 days flowering now and starting to turn up the trych engine. Really pleased with her so far.

C's single cola is filling in, really cranking out the trychs now. 25 days of flowering and she's looking real nice. The callixes are getting fat, I tried a closeup of one of them. The entire main stem is filling in with bud...there is no side branching on this girl. She's a true lollipop. I can only imagine right now what she's gonna look like in three weeks, let alone six weeks from now...

final shot is a group pic of batch two...in the blue containers is a feminised cali hash on the left, and a feminised greenhouse cheese on the right, the other three are all bagsies...

feedback welcome...
