Mold killing attempt

I made a little mistake, and now i have 50 grams of half cured lightly molded buds. I saw some pictures about molded buds, but compare to those cases, mine is way better than them. If i can say better to a mold problem.

Here is my attempt, to make it smokeable. I will grab a co2 syphon put the buds in it, and give it a co2 cartridge. Then i will see what will happen, in that enviroment with the mold. I thought it may kill the bastards because it's cold as hell, and the mold need O2 to live, not CO2. If this attempt is not working, i will try it with an NO2 cartridge.

It's a natural mould killer derived from citrus fruit extract. It won't strip heavy mould off your bathroom walls - it's not that strong - but it will kill mild cases of mould and mildew in grow rooms. And it's completely non-toxic - it's used as a food preservative.

And i'm back with the result. I put them in the syphon and give them a shot of co2. And leave them in the co2 for an our or so. Then, removed the top of the syphon, took out the buds, and put them in a transparent plastic packet, to see what's going on with the mold. But first things first. When you release the co2 from the syphon, gosh that smell. Weed smell mixed with some sourness. Not really good, and the buds smells like co2ish for a while too, about 10-20 minutes.

Okay, so the results. It's cold, and it's dark inside the bottle, and there is no or just very little oxigen in the syphon, but i don't really recommend to smoke weed cured like this. There was maybe a little progression, because i don't see mold on them, but i really DO NOT RECOMMEND to smoke weed cured like this. After trying it there was a little change in the harshness of the taste, but it was as potent as before (i removed the healty buds for further curing). I don't even give the buds another shot, or used no2. It would be an interesting experiment but i don't have the time for it.

Simply you have to admit, when you fcked up, and do not play with the health of others, or even yours. It doesn't worth it. Next time i will try to watch out for the humidity much much more!

Hey! Thanks for the advice, but i'm not even near to Australia. Tried to find this product in my country, but no signs of it.

See if you can find some grapefruit seed extract at a natural health store or something. It is a similar to Citrofresh and has the same effect. Failing that, you can use vinegar: spray a vinegar solution on the buds to kill the mold, then dry them out. The vinegar smell will linger for a while, but will eventually go away.
