Everyone I know was in and is still waiting at some stage.

its not sueing them, its called something else. I forgot the name, starts with a C.
I can't remember the word either, but it's "sueing" the government for illegal delay of business without proper grounds.
Anytime your personal being or business was held up by an unnecessary process by the government, you have the option to pursue them legally to force movement.
The problem is, they could call your BS and return your application too - there's lots of room in the regulations for "reasonable doubt".

that's why I haven't done that yet, im too small and not a million $ invested application to get pushy. im just supprized im still in there. no changes, no issues, doing what they want every time they ask. the longer it takes, the better imo. im no quitter, but I prob would sell if approved, not interested in working for HC, ill work for a lp but not run one. if I could sell, id prob just retire

If that day comes, shoot me a message and I'll buy your LP and then hire you to run it. The investment seems safe to me.

My friend sent an app in Aug of 2014, they went through the first 2 stages real fast, only had one round of silly questions... they sat in security clearance for about 5 months and roughly 9 weeks ago were notified they are in the review stage and to expect heavy communication with health canada as they request clarification on security plans ect.. well they havent heard a single thing, any time they request an update they just told the same form letter they are in the review stage and will be contacted if/when clarification is needed...

seems like this time of year nothing gets done around there...

They are still actively inspecting and approving companies.
They are also actively handing out "Ready for final inspection" letters.

The issue is that the ready for final inspection letter is no longer a legally binding letter of intent - this means you can now do your entire build and never get approved.
