MMPR Grow op: Small Scale

Sorry bro....I also considered it before it came to be. But I saw it was gonna be a doomed deal by resistance alone. I had space I owned and all. But knew it just wouldn't be a go. I also hope of making it a legal business. But I saw and sensed the writing on the wall. I was hoping to start a new business too. Oh well...fuck the man.....i knew we'd not get along anyway. I've been fucked over by the gov for 30 years in bus already...who needs more. Sold the building and made money.
Yeah, we were doing a bit more of a bigger/proper run at it.
Enough to support all the local MMAR patients with their current strains at the same price they were currently paying.
Agreements similar to CC ones, but with clean room grown, lab-tested product.

It was an eye-opening experience and a wild ride, but this is where we are now.

Well If they limit most regular folks from it they can suck wind. My support is only for small individual growers. And it was obvious they didn't want that. As soon as i saw it was gonna be done bigger than I was I never gave in any more thought. Never spent more than thought on it.
I'll stick to the CC model for now.

It's coming up on 1 year since I put my application in. Heard from HC 4 times in the last year. Apparently now past "security clearance" and in the "in depth review" stage. Ready to build (RTB) is next. It's been a long time coming.

There's so many stages of security clearances it's not even funny.
We got a written letter from the RCMP saying they were done all the security checks and we sent it to HC to call their bluff.
They responded that there was more levels and new levels and sometimes you have to go back through levels if something changes or it's been too long, etc. Just a nightmare, but the reality is that "security clearances" is where they keep people when they don't want to communicate with them. RCMP didn't do any security clearances for something like 6 months too.. just a disaster.

You're being strung along.
I'd get a lawyer, start litigation and use the coin against them.
probably stand a better chance of winning out in the end.

Just wondering how many people were on your security app? I've waiting for security clearance for 9 months so far. Thanks!

6 people, 2 investers, SPIC, RPIC, QA (ARPIC), and head scientist (ARPIC),

Itsme.
Thanks! Wow, that's quite a few. We only have 3. Any idea why it can take that long? I've heard things such as traveling outside the country for over 6 months or having dual citizenship can increase the time it takes. Or do you think HC is controlling how long it takes to pass security?

Thanks again for your help! This stage has really been stressful for our company so any info helps!

you need more than 3 staff, 2 extra A/rpics in case 1or2 others are sick.
I have 7 and that's a small site.
U.N is doing majority of the security checks world wide data collected.
its for sure to have a security check done in 4-6 months.
its just delays and other hoops, they told me I was in security, they stated they stopped them and made me do extra QA bs, then I have sent them the info back by email & snail mail and I know they have received it. they have told me 4 different times they have just got the info??? wtf, stoners in HC.
its to make you ive up or snap.
if your mouthy they boot ya, too close to a house, any security issues, owe taxes, ect.
whatever they can do to make us stop or fail, then your out.
I just keep doing what they want. and don't ask questions, just get it right.

Once you get a RTB, you can start security clearences for staff. 6 was for all the people on the initial app, our key people. I have heard once your approved it only takes 3-4 weeks for clearence to add arpic's.

U.N. Isn't doing SC's.

From what I understand you will fit into 3 categories, for security clearences.

1-no risk
2-potential risk
3-risk

you need to be squeaky clean to get no risk, a MMAR license may put you in the potential risk, even if think your squeaky clean. If anyone falls into anything other than no risk, it could delay your app. It's a place HC can hold you in limbo....

In this day and age with the technology available...they can do fkn security checks instantly...
How can they keep a straight face when they say it takes months?
Do they hit one key per day on their PC?
It's not like they get in a car and check things out, or mail requests for info...
Come on, they check the data base...instantly they know.
