Well I can promise you that there will be no get out of jail free pass in the military. Pick a branch and go on in. Then start growing, if and when you get busted (because you will) then see how charming your life turns out. I'm sure military prison is a walk in the park since the same people who put you there run it.
I have seen people get busted for several different types of drugs while I was in and none of them ended with a happy ending. Not to mention the discharge you would get would haunt you for a good bit.

If you enjoy weed that much then just do the time outside the military and deal with it. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps and believe me you do not want to grow, sell, buy or use anything that will pop up in the random drug tests, and depending on your job in the military... you will have them way to often.
Plus there is no such thing as a permanent duty station. 4 years = 3 duty stations and countless other temporary duty stations for various training. So who is going to tend to the crops while your off to someplace leaning to deal with extreme cold, heat or hostile environments?
Plain and simple do not make your life worse then you already have by getting caught doing what got you where you are now.

Suicide bombing kills 14 in Iraq - Yahoo! News

"I heard a big explosion and I ran away out of fear. I came back to the tent after hearing the voices of wounded begging for help," said Awad Jassim, a 25-year-old who had been making coffee over an open fire. "The tent fell down and there was chaos everywhere, but we managed to carry out the dead and the wounded."

The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger - but recognize the opportunity. - John F Kennedy

Nah, the armies not for me. I*m interested in the air force, because I have an uncle who speaks highly of it. Plus the town I*m in has a navy base, which really turned me off of the navy. Around here all they do is crash high school parties and get arrested for having sex with 16 and 17 year olds.

More on Iraq? I*ve heard of that stuff. My step-dad stopped policing 3 years ago to get hired on by BlackWater. He was in Iraq for 2and1/2years. I*ve heard plenty of Iraq stories and seen plenty of his personal videos of him and his squad and what goes on over there. Its pretty bad true, but of course you only hear the worst case scenarios in the media.

But I was able to pull something good out of the bad, no?

The title read suicide bombing kills 14. I generally skip those articles, but if one man is pulling out dead bodies and wounded men, would that hero see the situation as a good story? To us it shows heroism, but if I was in his shoes, it would be tough to sleep at night after experiencing something like that.

Can we not talk about Iraq or The War on Terror? The topic tends to get people fired up.

Yea, I will agree that some things BlackWater does is alittle shady, but all my step-dad did was train bomb dogs and clear out rooms for politicians and people of power.
He cleared a room once for Hiliary Clinton, and he said she was a complete bitch. Very rude to everyone.

Now we have something to agree about, Hillary is a bitch. The sad thing is, she is going to be the next president. I can only hope that she comes through with at least some of her promises. Reversing the Bush tax cuts for the rich, stopping the war and medical for all are good starting points.

A little hut on a beach with 1 Palm tree, with food, water and weed is fine for me, I don't need a credit score or Air Jordan's or a Lamborghini.....

um i have military experience and i think you are risking a lot growing. not only are you subject to state and federal laws but also the uniform code of military justice. dont spend any time in a military prison...they suck

Is the airforce that bad? Ha. I have an uncle in it, really enjoys it from what I know. He's been in 12-14years not sure, but has been to japan, italy, korean and some other places.

The situtation i*m in though is that the case is taken care of. My step-dad is a cop, his dad is a cop, his grand-dad was a cop, and i*m in a small town. So its getting taken care of, but there is NO oppurtunity in this place. I*ve got to do something. Where this is heading is I was just curious about the militaries policies towards marijuana and growing. If anyone had done it or any other information.
I suggest you go in the military, if that is your goal. Otherwise, take the charge and work through that.
