Voter ID was in fact a rebuke idea to suppress the vote, and what about early voting (Souls to the polls) where it had been the long practice of many black folks to go to church on Sunday and then go to the polling booth afterwards?

Photo ID is already mandatory for many aspects of life. If you dont have a photo id you cannot get a legit job.

Alcohol and driving are PRIVILEGES, not RIGHTS.

As an American citizen, you have the RIGHT to vote, free of encumbrances of the requirements for identification or payments.

Goddammit, girl- did you sleep through all of civic class, or just the important parts?

when i was in oregon, i lost my ID and would have had to pay $56 for a replacement. good thing they just send the ballot to registered voters in the mail, otherwise i would not have been able to vote because i got drunk at a wedding and lost my ID.
