For these strains do you know how tall I should let them get before I flower. I'd like to keep them to about 3ft when flowered.

I think that should give me 2 ozs per plant when finished, hopefully more.

are they more sative dom or indica. fro the looks of the plants they look to be about 50/50.
i always flowered mine at around 8-12 inches, i also always lsted and topped

The WW is 60/40 and the WC is a bit more indica. I was thinking 12-14 inches which would be about 5-6 weeks veg.

I'm going for a little larger plant since I have the height.:leaf:

if to large it wont make a difference, if the light does not penetrate that far down then a bigger plant is worth less, all the lower growth will be fluffy and small. i tried to keep my plants under 3 ft tall under 1 600. i didnt even like them 3 ft tall when they accidently got that high. i like them to be more at a 2 foot point, but like i said i lst and top.
i think a 600 penetrates down as far as 30 inches or something like that

I may have to flower sooner then or look at possible side lighting. I was thinking of putting a bulb in each corner, maybe a 4ft fluorescent for side lighting.

I'll just flower out when they're 12 inches. I really want to avoid manipulating these ones if possible and let them grow out as natural as I can.

I rotate the plants daily so the lighting is evenly spread over the whole plant and I can adjust for any dark areas.

i love seeing plants that are not topped, cut,or lsted, but it always seems the yeild per plant is lower when not done. ive talked to many people who said theri yeilds went way up once they topped and lsted some instead of single cola plants, i also noticed this myself as well, i went from 1 ounce per plant and the grow right after i lsted and got 4 ozs per plant

Wow, that's a pretty good jump. I've topped and LSTed other plants and I've seen the difference it makes under the lighting.

Since this is my first round with good genetics I kinda want to see what I'll be looking at as far as in height growth and size so I know what to expect for future grows and then determine what topping and LSTing techniques to use.

I'm sure I'll be doing 2 or 4 cola plants as my grows continue.

Willy Jacks NL outdoors....Left un-trained 3-4oz AVG with 6 plants, one LST'd early and just kept bending branches down threw out it's life-little over 8oz. I train all the time now but when I'm working with new strains I like to see there traits and what I'm working with to see what kind of training would work best for that strain.

So the 4 little ones are 4 weeks old today and are all between 4-5 inches tall now. Node spacing is still nice and tight and I've seen tremendous amounts of growth since the transplant.:weed:

Everything seems to be going very well and the girls are looking nice and green, few more weeks left on the bagseed and it's still doing very well even with the drop in light.

Update: Girls are doing well. About 6-7 inches now. The WW appears to have a little burn but I'm sure it's from the soil tab I added in combination with my compost. I'm confident it will correct itself as it grows larger.

I found some 24" T8's for a decent price so I just got done installing 4 of those a little while ago for side lighting.:weed:

Nice job man. Last time I saw them they were just babies, they are really beautiful now!

You've definitely got some rich compost!
