Massive Cabinet Build. Comments/Ideas?

Lightbox is done but I"m afraid I won't have enough passive intake..we should find out this evening. I have a feeling I might have to put in a thermostat and an inline fan for the veg box.
I finally got my updated cards and can begin as soon as I finish up. Although currently I have only some bag seeds I'm on the wait list for clones from one of the dispenseries that develop thier own strains. I wish it was going to be the Tony's TnT but I think they are giving out a more indica dominant strain.

So anyone think this series of cabinets is going to work or did I spend a bunch of cash to set myself up for failure?
Just wondering as I see lots of views and no comments....
I'll snap a few more pics tonight...

Been running the cabinets now for quite a few hours and I think I have them dialed in. By setting the main cabinets fan controller temp to the approx 76 or so I can keep both cabinets at 76. I'll have to post some pictures of how I set up the exhaust system between the two cabinets because I wasn't sure if it was even gonig to work! I'm glad to see if functioning well although I wish I could get the fan to run alittle harder that means with my current setup the temps would have to get higher. Perhaps, a few more CFL's in the Veg cabinet?

Things are really starting to come together. I've let the cabinets run now for about 8 hrs and the are both holding right about 76-77 degrees and the ambient room temp is at 68 to 69. Does this mean I will 'not' have to vent out of the room?

Sorry for the delay in updates as "ve had quite a stressful few weeks as my wife and new son almost died due to birthing compications, but all is looking up now if we can ever get out of the hospital.
Someone gave me a plant that was in severe need of help which I'll post on a different thread when I get a chance. It has some stretch so what are the rules on topping or shortening the plant. Good thing is that it has pre-flowers on it so I know it is female. I'll post some pics and see if I can get some help with it.

Things are settling out here so I thought I would post an update on what was happening with the cabinets. I appear to be not getting enough circulation during the 'night' period in the flower box as the 'tester' plant I was given is showing signs of 'claw'. I temps are staying to low to kick the fan on to exchange the air in the cabinet and from what I"ve read the it could be attributing to the claw I"m seeing.
As a solution I"ve order a 6" inline booster fan to push hot air from the veg box into the flower box in hopes it will raise the temp enough to kick on the fan and exchange both boxes. Any HVAC guys or gals out there? Will this hurt the booster fan when the main 6" fan comes on or are they designed to let air flow around the blades also?

Fan should be here any day now, I had hoped for today but it's not looking like it, and then I should be able to get a thermostat at the local hardware supercenter for it and I"ll give everyone an update on how it is working.

Another side note....
In the veg box I had planned on using Elastomeric roofing paint but decided agianst it after I was given a vegged out bagseed plant to play with. Not being able to take the box out of the basement I didn't want to infect the area with toxic paint fumes so I went and picked up the reflective bubble wrap from the hardware store and used it. Does this product work? It says 98% reflective material and I figured I could wrap my hydro tote if I had algae problems in the future.

Baked and chatty I guess.....

Hey Pazuzu,
I checked out your thread when I saw you on the other one.
Nice cab...a helluva deal at $30.

Not an HVAC guy but I know that a booster fan can be installed in an oversized duct so that some air flows around it. It would be move air up to it's free air rating. If the duct cfm is greater than the boosted air rating, it them becomes a drag on air flow.
Good luck.

Thanks EvlMunkee,

Wish I had seen your post a day or to ago, I probally could of went with a 4in fan in the 6in duct, as I'm only trying to push hot air from the veg cabinet into the flower to use the same carbon filter :)
I finally got my cloner situation figured out also...no LEAKS and lots of pressure went with a pond pump and I think 6 ezclone heads puts out lots of droplets. Not anywhere near High pressure areo but should do the job. Pics to come tonight!

Dang dude, nice set up. You seem to be on a pursuit of perfection. Don't kill yourself over the details, weeds don't need perfect conditions to grow. You'll get some sick bud from that cab, for sure.

and congrats on the new baby

good stuff dude!, epic cab nice
Thanks Beastcore, it is nice to hear that you enjoy the cabinet. I've put alot of time and well frankly money in hopes of giving myself more time to spend on the growing side of things.
With a nice cabinet, it is one less factor to concider.

Threw a plant that was in real bad shape into the cabinet for a test run. Mystery soil and mystery bud. Was told it was 'chronic' *laughs* Unknown veg time I would assume like 3 weeks as it was showing preflowers or just crap light. The story of how I got it is pretty odd and wierd....
DSC_1461.jpgSo this was put in the cabinet on 4/3

Moving forward in experience as well as enjoyment! I think, and I don't feel alone here, that after you've built your cabinet or grow space we just want to see if we can improve on it further. That is the case here as well, so in about 2 weeks as my run finishes up I"ll be taking out the totes that I currently use and replace it for one that takes up more of the space inside the tote allowing me to space them better. To do so I"ll have to move my intake lightblock to the outside and reattach the veg cabinet alittle different. So updates to come if anyone is interested.

Pretty fucking nice grow cab you got set up bro! I should have my box set up really soon here too I just need to wait until I get this money I'm expecting to help make my box a much more efficient growing machine. :) Plant looks fucking nice that you tested out on.:weed:
