Hell ya finally. I wonder how the laws and regulations will be. I need to find out how to go about being a caregiver or opening a dispensary. Wicked happy that this law passed a step in the right direction
Now all the people have to do is point out that the 'Democracy' of the people have SPOKEN... any thing that goes against this will be viewed as a non democratic society... People need to stand up on this and make sure that 'Democracy' rules... hell, we shut up and took it when 'Democracy' ruled in the other direction... tit for tat now I say!!!!

I can't find out much info other than the 60 supply limit. No mention of plant counts anywhere that I could find. If anyone knows how MA is, they will be very strict and difficult I'm sure.

@Edgar9 one of the funniest posts I've read on here, so true!! People are VERY high strung here compared to a lot of other places for sure. Hopefully this will get more people to calm down a little! bongsmilie

That's wicked sweet!! Can you be open by the new year when the law takes effect? Any info on being a caregiver or plant count limits? Everything seems a little vague still.

How did you get approved to open a dispensary?

Massachusetts will be the first state ever to have a fist fight between customers in a dispensary.

There was a fist fight at the symphony orchestra in Boston a few years ago.

I'm originally from Mass. The place is fucking crazy.
. Just figured out how to put a quote in a post. This made me laugh so hard!! Unfortunately its soooo true. Definitely a state that could REALLY use some more weed!

God that makes me want to puke. Who gave you the approval? I've made a few call at every level including my Rep and no one knows shit. I'm still looking into it and can't wait for the day that I get to help people get the medication they need. Hopefully along the way I can stuff my pockets with cash and get stoned as a rat for strictly NON medical reasons. Way to be aggresive boss. Great time to be poised and ready to go Boss especially for a people person.:D

im calling bs on this, the state has not released its dispensary guidlines yet and is not required to issue registrations until Jun 1..... not even allowed to until Jan 1...... i helped with this law, i know it inside and out and you did not get approved yet

from what I've read though,by the wording of the law,"growing licenses" are only going to be given out under cases of undo hardship, where a patient doesn't have easy access to a state run dispensary? am I reading it wrong? How lenient are they going to be on this? Supposedly this law was written to "fix" some of the abuse issues other states have seen. I need to find me a new primary care doctor, mine umm..."retired"( I could never get a full story, some med board issues). Any MMJ friendly doc's around?
you are allowed to grow at least until an official dispensary is set up.... then it should still be reasonably easy to be allowed to grow for yourself

Saw my DR. today and got a bad vibe right from the get go. He had a hair crossed as soon as he walked in the the little office you wait in. I didn't even bother to ask about a card for stress related issues since I'm positive he would have said no.
Since I don't have any of the qualifying health issues this new law doesn't help me. In fact it may worsen things in that they may really throw the book at people who grow a few plants without a card/caregiver status since I think the cops and politicians didn't want it passed in the first place. I wish they would just follow in Colorado's footsteps.

Do you mean would people be allowed to go to another state's dispensary?

Read the bill. There's a hardship clause that says if you live too far away from a dispensary you can produce for yourself. If there aren't any Jan. 1st....
Oh yes, I have already read the bill, 3x. But the bill says jan 1st , MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENTS are free from prosecution for growing(hardship) and possesing. BUT if there isnt mmj cards being issued until say...may or april then your not a medical marijuana patient because no one has a card. I mean that is cloudy/ grey area it seems. But whats to stop the court from charging you with cultivation and possesion if you are not a medical marijuana patients(on the books) I know its only 3 months and chances are no one or nearly no one will be caught and charged within those 3-4 months ...but hey...I question that whole thing
