Check out the BioWave Hydro! Discounted from $2,395 to $595, it's a STEAL!

From the ad: Biowave is a revolutionary patent pending machine that increases plant yields by an average of 20 %. It operates by creating a subsonic harmonic wave that radiates out from the machine and makes plants breathe better. Biowave has been tested on the farm, in greenhouses, and in hydroponic growing facilities, and all tests confirm the gain in yield as well as a 55% gain in total dissolved solids. Many growers also have reported a huge reduction in insect loads. Current tests by Dr. Lynette Morgan in New Zealand have further confirmed the above results in greenhouse tomatoes.

These guys threw us one for a grow we were doing, looked cool but i didn't notice a huge change in yield.

everyone knows:

Using Miracle Grow soil in a clear container with Aluminum foil on the walls with one 23 watt cfl will give you a pound harvest....

I dare you to not try it...

I have done this grow... and well... Good....

Another:
NPK doesn't matter ...
Use a High unbalanced number 64/10/84
or similar- 06/66/12
Really high bloom nutes, will give you high blooms?
Less is Never more... Always use two-three times strength on labels...
Especially clones...
Oh yes... that clone fade... never grow more than one-two rounds with your clones... That clone fade will get you...
Grow from seed every time... don't trust clones, that you grow...

hold up. the nail is legit. old school remedy for iron deficiency in clay on the east coast.

but, if you amend your spot instead of planting in clay, you won't need a nail...

AND the golden color come from banding the trunk, and tightening. slowly locks the plant down, and makes a pretty dead bud color. totally works, i swear.

yes, i'm serious, those two are fact based.

What are some unconventional growing techniques you've heard of?
Another thread mentions "Chris Browning" your plants. I've heard of playing simple beats or even a metronome device that you gradually increase tempo until harvest to increase the urgency.
A lot of people cash their bowls in their plants soil. Dont know why, honestly, extra nutes lol?

Anyways what are some unconventional tricks or myths for growing ganja?
op I like that you use the chrisbrowning term from the other thread
I want to to see some dumbass beat his plants and put that shit on YouTube.

but seriously people don't beat your plants thell call the cops and get a restraining order on you just don't do it

the Sun is the same temp and spectrum year round. The earth is in a different position to the sun. Mh run hotter than hps... My point was you don't need 2 different spectrums. Its more beneficial to have the same spectrum in veg and flower. Then there won't be any lag due to spectral transition when flipping to 12/12.

I am aware, but the distance we are from the sun affects the color temp of the sun here. And there is definitely a difference in the way a plants vegs under mh vs. Hps.... im really confused as to you saying this is a myth when theres tons of proof out there.

So youre right about not needing it, but it isnt a myth that one works better than the other.

Presumably the sun contains the full spectrum of light that plants have evolved to use. Mh and hps produce slightly different lightwaves with one being more usable for vegetative growth and one for flowering.
I suppose the best way to mimic the sunlight might be to run a mh and hps side by side, but since the concensus is mh - veg, hps - flower, why bother? Personally I'm a 600w hps all the way kinda guy. HPS, FTW!

If you're lucky enough to get an 'all bud pheno', you really gotta grow 'hard mode' to make the most of having 'a lotta white hairs'. Otherwise you're just pissing in the wind.

So your saying the Mexicans went around tying strings around all of their plants to make them turn golden?? But they wont take the time to separate males. I call shenanigans lol. Could it be that they dried their plants outside in the sun and they turned a golden brown perhaps? This thread has turned into myths that really work. Yup the mexicans take great pride in proper growing and curing, thats why we get big compressed bales of green weed full of seed! Lol
