Mandala seeds satori grow

How leafy are these plants? Just ordered some and am kinda discouraged after reading that...
I'd say mine are about 6/10 in terms of calyx : leaf. Not too, too bad then again they have a few more weeks to go and calyxes are still few in numbers. I can't speak for Odin's Garden because I've only taken cuttings when Odin's Satori was in early flower and have not seen it since - his pics look promising though. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Good yield and good potency. Traits of a queen right there.

So give me a quick run down of why I'll be pumped with this strain?... anyone have experience with hashberry?

Also I'd like a report on her me issues... I hope their are none... is the yield good or what

Never done hashberry...

Satori is a very sativa dominant strain with a quick finishing time, shorter stature, and high comparable to plants that usually take 4 or more weeks longer to flower. If you're looking for a psychoactive, racey, potentially paranoia inducing, very intense high, but can't grow tropical hazes, Satori is an excellent strain. It has some landracey traits, so you're not going to get buds that look as pretty as your og, kush, or cindy strains, but the buds are still quite frosty and the potency is great.

I guess I'll have to see to see for myself. I'm impressed with the forum length... Says something about it. You don't see the common enthusiasm for a specific strain to often on the forum. Still not sold on the description of being leafy and not great bag appeal (from how it sounds)

I'm torn between hashberry and satori top grow first... might flip a coin. Both should be here any day

Here are some pics of Satori #1. I haven't harvested the entire plant yet but did take a medium-ish size top for trial. Just waiting for it to dry. From the looks of her and now, holding this bud in my hand Satori#1 is a solid, medium to medium + yielder. Buds show potential to get pretty big. Her clone is doing well :-D:-D
Trichs were about 5-10 % amber on this particular top ftr. 8-)

Nice. How long you planning on keeping the bags on?
That photo was from last march. I leave the bag on for maybe 10 mins during lights off, if you leave in on too long the plant will begin to sweat, which isn't good for the pollen. I'll shake the bag around like a rattle for a while then prior to removing the bag I'll get out the spray bottle and moisten the plant well. (The water will reduce any unplanned pollination on the rest of the plant . I got a few stray seeds but not many.

That was why I asked

Harvested both Satori. Got about 4 oz between them in 3 gal pots. Of course, the lower yielding Satori #2 is more potent. Nothing super special guys. I have a higher then average tolerance though so it could just be me. My lemlom blows her out of the water in terms of potency. I think I'll grow Satori #1 again but the others I'm pretty sure I'll be tossing - including clones of Odin's Satori. I really needed something a bit harder kicking and a bit heavier yielding then what she showed me. I am looking forward to growing some outside next year though. I'll be back when she has gotten a decent cure and is all trimmed up so I can post final nug shots. :peace:

Sure thing. Fairly leafy. Diesal - Kerosene smell. Hashy taste. Neither have kept the citrus smell as they've dried. We'll see if it comes back during a cure. Resin content is decent but nothing like my Afghan X Skunk or even Lemlom.

- Hey, It's not over 8-) We're gonna bring this strain outside next year. Still have 5 seeds left + all the crosses we've made. We already know she responds well to 14/10. I think they will do well. Odin might even be doing his SBR X Satori crosses on this thread, so who knows. I hope you stick around in the future. :peace:

No purple in those pics man lol. Its funny that you mention it though because she will turn purple. I had some leaf tips turn purple just before I harvested. If I had let her go a little longer I'm sure the pruple would have reached the buds. :leaf: Jaaaaaa, the leaves, they are a pain but it could be worse.

Is the color off? Because the pistils certainly look purplish
Could have been. Not sure. I'll be starting Odin's Satori again soon though. I'm renaming it Satori #3 though since he is no longer growing one. I had a mishap, where I set my "library" to 14/10 to try and save electricity. Satori #3 started flowering so just waiting for a solid reveg probably get started vegging in no more then 2 weeks. We'll see. :peace:
