Mandala seeds satori grow

Sure thing. Fairly leafy. Diesal - Kerosene smell. Hashy taste. Neither have kept the citrus smell as they've dried. We'll see if it comes back during a cure. Resin content is decent but nothing like my Afghan X Skunk or even Lemlom.

- Hey, It's not over 8-) We're gonna bring this strain outside next year. Still have 5 seeds left + all the crosses we've made. We already know she responds well to 14/10. I think they will do well. Odin might even be doing his SBR X Satori crosses on this thread, so who knows. I hope you stick around in the future. :peace:
I'd have to agree on the trimming, very time consuming.
The citrus scent never came back in the flavor for me after curing, but the fuel flavor does fade with the cure, after 6 months I got an earthy hash flavor while smoking.
My friend (who is a gifted grower) grew out a couple clones I gave him this summer outdoors (one male & one female). It finished 3 wks back, which means it started flowering well before 12 hrs dark. He gave me some seeds from a cross he made this summer with his Sour Diesel.

Thought I'd update on the cure. It is actually pretty amazing but the curing Satori has taken on a Coca Cola smell. So far as to tickle your nose like carbonation would. It tastes like Coca Cola too and has a hint of that tickle when you take your first few hits finally fading to a hashy taste that also quickly subsides - it felt almost like I was about to get cotton mouth but then it vanished. We're blown away by this scent and taste profile. It is interesting too, because my 818 Headband grown in the same soil mix also developed a Coca Cola smell and tickle but it is more like cherry coke than regular coke. I don't usually curse but Fucking Spectacular! The single most significant flavor I've tasted in cannabis yet. Can NOT wait to see if we can bring out a similar but richer flavor in Satori #3 because I have a feeling that she might smell like orange or another citrus soda! The revegging Satori #3 is doing well but she is just starting to really veg so it may be a few more weeks yet again. That which is truly worth waiting for I suppose right? :D:D

Update. We vegged the shit out of this lady. She took forever to grow into a three gallon pot. Probably something to do with lack of co2 in my closet space. Satori #3 is about a week from harvest. I am just waiting for some seeds on her to finish up (9 lb Hammer X Satori). She is one of the most potent strains I've worked with thus far. Wonderful Sativa high that is almost like a cup of coffee except it is all in your head. She has a spicy-citrus aroma almost like nutmeg + citrus or cinnamon and citrus. Can't really put my finger on it but it tickles your nose. She is not very high yielding giving me what looks like a couple oz max in a five gallon pot. I will be growing her again inside and who know how many clones will be growing outside 6 months from now. Enjoy the pics. :D :peace:
Recap:
-low but not super low yielding
-spicy citrus aroma
-very potent, absolute sativa high. very uplifting hence, "SATORI" (enlightenment) even for me, with my high tolerance.
-popcorn bud growth
-easy to grow, then again my soil recipe only requires water so anything I grow is easy

Hey Allen,

Amazing looking lady. I just finished a NYC DIESEL x LOWRYDER #2 Automatic that had similar colors. I've been wanting to try something from Mandala, but I have far too many other bean's to utilize before I order more. My current plant is a four week old Nordic Jack photo, she's a NORTHERN LIGHT x JACK HERER. I'm trying to hone my "LST'ING" skills, seeing these seeds were rather inexpensive, this girl will be the Guinea Pig. I've been looking for a good soil recipe, do you mind sharing? Here's a couple of pictures of my Diesel Auto.

Sure. Here is an excerpt from my journal when I made the mix -
10/19/2014

Soil was 2 cf of 50/50 HF and sunshine #4.
Added: 1 CF WC, .6 cubic feet vermiculite, .30 - .40 cf Sphagnum moss.
Then added:
4 tbs green sand a cubic foot (16x)
4 tbs rock dust a cubic foot
4 tbs lime a cubic foot
4 tbs a CF rock phosphate
4 tbs a CF eggshell meal
4 tbs a CF DE
3/4 cup per CF kelp meal
8 tbs blood meal
8 tbs bone meal
4 tbs k mag
1/4 to 1/2 cup guano per cubic foot (used 3x 1/4 cups) (all purpose 10-4-1)

Watered with 2 gallons w/ 1 tbs molasses each.

Then watered two days later with an AACT at 2 cups a gallon + 1 tbs molasses (2.5x gallons)

Added 50 worms to the 4 CF that is there.

Soil was great for for mature vegging or flowering plants but too hot for young seedlings and developing clones. Enjoy. :bigjoint: :peace:

Btw, your girls look great. :weed:
